Thanks for fixing the contrast problem for distance to cache when you added it to the new title area on the nav view.

I believe the ability to have multiple offline lists selected at once is in the plans. The other side of that coin is needed.
The ability during "Add to Offline List" to select multiple offline lists to add a cache to. For example, a solved puzzle might go on the solved list and also on the East Bay list to make it show up when I'm caching in that area and on a third list if it has a DT combo I need for my grid.
Adding to multiple lists and using multiple lists are independent features and could be implemented independently.

I must have fumble fingered something as it works like you say and 2 is the right number. Glad it's fixed.

If it is on multiple lists, it will still be in the DB. Geosphere would show Remove as the action if it were part of some other list and Delete if it truly was gone. This was handy knowledge.
A GS search for a cache by gccode when online or offline would first consult the whole DB and see if it was local and return that result if found. Thus a deleted cache in an offline list could often be recovered. I'm hoping that once you have the full DB searchable, conveniences like these are offered.

I just logged a series of trackables via the app and the 2 fields that are always required are at the bottom of the Log Trackables screen - Log Type and Message. For me, it requires scrolling to select those fields. Please consider moving those fields up on the log trackables screen similar to the order of fields in the Log Cache screen - Date, Log Type, Message, followed by the rest of the fields.

After a few weeks of using Cachly in offline maps no data mode, it feels like the battery lasts longer than comparable usage with Geosphere. Nothing quantitive but just a gut feel.

I'm a new user of Cachly, since Geosphere died... probably like many others. I think I'm going to like this app. The transition has a little learning curve but not as much as I expected or dreaded. I'm like a few others and wish even a simple manual were made available. There's always a feature you're going to miss while using the app.
I just found the default log text this evening and the ability to add keywords, something my wife liked about Geosphere. Now she is smiling over Cachly. Plus she had to hit a few icons on Geosphere. On Cachly it's just a default text. That's sweet.
Now what I need to do is get off the computer and actually go out and use the app to find some caches.

Exactly right. You pickup where you left off.

Geosphere Set As Target (target concept described in a different thread) mostly does this. The only difference from what you describe is that pressing the action on the description page triggers Navigation and vice-versa navigating sets it as target. I'd rather it just set it as target but did not immediately navigate.
Once the target is set, it is colored red in Map view even if you switch lists to one not containing it or go to Live view

This will become largely a moot point for me when/if Cachly makes coordinates in text anywhere into a pressable hot link with options of navigate to, create location, set as Corrected coordinate, and Copy. Then I will rarely need to paste text into the Direct Input field

rragan got a reaction from Bolling in Offline List - Location.
There are two changes that might help this. One is to allow user-defined caches which are really richer locations and could belong to an offline list. This would get it on your offline map. I asked Nic to put such a feature on the list
The other is a different approach which I would find useful  Geosphere has the concept of Target which is the last Cache you navigated to or explicitly set as target. Even if you switch offline lists the target cache is visible in the map of that list. You can also shift the map to show the target much as you show current position. Presumably, this could work with locations too

What I mean is if I log the cache from an offline list, not as a draft but a Found log or DNF, etc then immediately after that Cachly refreshes the cache concerned so that my log is now added to the offline list.

I listened to a Podcast about Geooh Live, an Android app. While Android users may have Cachly-envy, the reverse is also true. Here are Geooh features I'd love to see in Cachly.
Google Street View integration KML and GeoJSON overlays on maps (provides DeLorme), county boundaries. User would download and specify overlays to use Optional sounds to play for logging a Found and DNF. Just a fun thing Integrated Wherigo player (low priority) Show optimized cache visit route for a list of caches. Done by reaching out to Google for the heavy lifting Named filter lists that can be saved and reused Nearby cache notifications See Cachly Friends logs on a cache. This would be limited to the logs the API allows access to or is offline but could still be very handy

Right now locations are very handy but second class citizens. I've suggested to Nic that moving them towards user-defined local caches would help in many ways.
Associated with a list exportable filterable navigate to...

rragan got a reaction from Nic Hubbard in Display GPX Points on Cachly?
Safari recognizes the meta information in the download and knows it is a GPX so offers apps that can handle GPX. Chrome, as best I can tell, only looks at the file extension and these lack that. Always use Safari for downloading GPX from web to Cachly.

rragan got a reaction from tonamigon in Support URL scheme
A URL scheme is a way for other apps or just links in a mail to wake up another app and ask it to do something. So I could send you cachly://gccode=GC70 and you could click that and have Cachly open up to the oldest multicache in the world.
Continuing with that line of thought, I have made a feature request to let Cachly users define their own "URL bookmarks" that would let Cachly integrate with other apps or web services. In Geosphere, I have a bookmark I defined that opens the cache location in Google Street View. Super useful.
