I just meant, in what field in your iOS contacts are you noting the GC username? In the notes field?
-
Are you saving the username in your iPhones contacts?
-
Possibly in the future. I am not sure I would consider this a bug or not. If text is inserted by a log type template then it "sticks". If you change to a log type without a template, it will stay there. No. There isn't a way to do this.

There isn't a way to sync lists from geocaching.com with the offline lists in Cachly. Those lists work as completely offline versions of caches that you add. You can however save the contents of a bookmark list offline. First view the bookmark list, then tap the ... button on the top right and choose "Save to Offline List". Saving it again will only update the caches in the database rather then creating a duplicate. If you have created two text templates, one with the log type of Found, and another with DNF, then creating a log of a different type will leave the message blank. Is this not happening for you? Can you replicate this on a specific bookmark list? If so, can you provide your username and bookmark name so I can try to replicate? You can use the mail icon when on a user profile and it will take you to the email option for a user. However, currently HQ does not allow third-party partners to add the Message Center to their apps. iPad is something we are considering. Apple Watch is something I have wanted since the watch came out, but as of Series 3, there is still no compass hardware in the watch, so you would still have to carry your phone, flat in your hand in order to get compass data and send to the watch. Not really an "improvement". Thanks for using Cachly!

Not following you on this one. The search for coord.info URLs are just used as a way to extract the GC code.
-
Can you explain this one more?
-
Will look into it.

The order is set to be the same for both of these interfaces. I wasn't able to replicate this issue. How many offline lists do you have?
-
Yes. Much of the new database upgrades and DB features internally require iOS 10.
-
I agree that it is a pain to delete. In 3.1.1 my plan was, that if a user taps into the description field it will clear our default text.

The name/title field has been removed as it is being removed from the API. Partners have been asked to remove it as it will likely be removed everywhere in the future.

I would like to see The Logs of my Friends at a Cache
Nic Hubbard replied to BeySel's question in Feature Requests
Unfortunately the geocaching.com API that we use doesn't have the ability to do this. So at this point we are not able to provide this feature. -
Thank you!

Best workflow for 5,000 offline caches
Nic Hubbard replied to barefootguru's topic in General Questions
Cachly can perform 30 requests to the API per 60 seconds. So you can potentially return 1,500 updated caches every 60 seconds. -
If you are able to send me your database file I could likely reproduce the issue here. Here are the instructions: You would need to open iTunes on your computer, go to your phone, then Apps and scroll down to the File Sharing section. Once there choose Cachly and you will see the following documents: Cachly.sqlite Cachly.sqlite-shm Cachly.sqlite-wal If you are able to save those to your desktop and then send them to me through Dropbox I would be able to look into the database.

Thanks for the info. Will look into getting this fixed.
-
Thanks. Will investigate.

Thanks for reporting. So this happens if you log a cache with a trackable that has multiple images attached? Then use the bulk upload feature?
-
This is something that we have planned, but to develop it is going to take a fair amount of work. Offline List viewing was created with a single list in mind, so we would have to rebuild all the code for almost everything to handle an array of lists. Swipe left on an Offline List then tap Options and you will see the option to remove the caches but not delete the list. You can also import into the same list, with the same caches, and they will be updated with the changes in the GPX file. However it won't delete caches that are not in the GPX.

This has always been a feature of Cachly since 1.0, but was briefly broken in 3.0.

You can create multiple text templates, and just don't set a log type. Then when you create a log you can insert that text template in the Message by pressing and holding and choosing Text Templates from the menu, or tapping the ... button. Does this help?
-
Yes, this is correct. Cachly does not include a filter in the database fetch if that filter is turned off. I have tested your scenario above and I cannot recreate it. Just to test, have you tried a new offline list and applied a distance filter to this?

Waypoints should be imported. Can you send me the file to support@cach.ly?
