  1. Thanks everyone. Yeah, as you have seen pretty much all negative reviews do I have to do with Regular users. Great idea about moving the restriction text elsewhere. Will do that for the 3.0.1 update, since Apple doesn't let me change that text unless we submit an update. Here is my idea: - Find Caches Current location, coordinates, search for a location, or GC code. *Basic member restrictions do apply. Some features only show for Premium users. Then at the bottom of the description it has the full disclaimer. Thoughts?
  2. I think that as @Bolling mentioned, putting this kind of thing into the cache note would be best. It might seem tedious, but it is the best place, and also syncs to geocaching.com.
  3. As @rragan mentioned if that background isn't in the description HTML then we aren't able to get it.
  4. You can copy the title from the Additional Information screen.
  5. Do you have an example GC code I can look at?
  6. Strange, never seen them display that small. What username is this for?
  7. Ah, so you mean the actual image not the icon. Let me look into this.
  8. Cachly does display the default trackable image when you are viewing them. Are you meaning somewhere like in Pending Trackable logs? If not, could you post a screenshot?
  9. Unfortunately this isn't something that the geocaching.com API supports, so it isn't possible to do this.
  10. I am looking into ways to include topo lines. It will make the download sizes larger but I do think it would be great to have.
  11. So, you are meaning a saved search that the results might changed, just like a PQ?
  12. 3.0 will be released on June 29th but we do not have a release date for 3.0.1 yet. It would likely be a week or two after the 3.0 release.
  13. This isn't currently possible. Pending logs will be able to be sent in batch in our upcoming 3.0 version, but at the moment trackables cannot. Planning to add this in 3.0.1.
  14. Because offline lists are databases this isn't currently possible. What countries do you live by? We do have large portions of Europe for download.
  15. I have an internal list but I don't share this publicly. I would be happy to create a space where beta testers can discuss the upcoming features and see what I have planned Let me see if i can create a restricted forum for this. Stay tuned.
  16. Open Cycle Maps are just OSM maps with additional layers shown. What in particular are you wanting to show? Can you give me a location example and what is missing in the offline maps?
  17. I have it on "a list" but I don't have it slated for an upcoming release. I need to do more research about it, but from what I have read previously getting multiple readings on iPhone is not very effective like it is on a GPSr.
  18. I do have this on our list for offline lists. Just need to design how it would look.
  19. I am just trying my best to do my part in creating a Geocaching app that everyone loves and wants to use. It is a work in progress as is any software. More great stuff to come!
  20. The only issue with this is that it uses "full" caches in order to get that data. For Premium users that isn't too bad since you can load 6,000 full caches per day, but regular users get 3 per day. Also, I wouldn't want to implement this without it being off by default since premium users could pretty quickly use up their caches if they were really exploring around the map. We do have this on our list, but these are the major reasons why it hasn't been added yet.
  21. I think I mentioned this before, but this is standard and expected functionality for an MKMapView in iOS. This is just how it works when you touch the screen the map will stop all follow modes. This is also the way the iOS Maps app works, this is the way the Official Groundspeak app works, and I am pretty sure all other Geocaching apps work this way as well. Not trying to be defensive, it just isn't a quick problem to solve for a number of reasons. I realize this is not ideal for most Geocachers as they want to "lock" the follow mode. This is functionality that we are going to need to develop ourselves to override how iOS maps current work. It is something we will be working on for an upcoming version.
  22. Thanks for updating us! Can you explain what you mean?
  23. Thanks for the suggestion, will add it to our feature list!
  24. You can press and hold on the map and it will drop a pin, then tap the info button on the callout and choose Save Location. This will allow you to then refine the coordinates and save that location. These can then be accessed by going to More and Saved Locations. You can also tap your current location to create a Saved Location. These saved locations can then be used to navigate to using the compass and target features of Cachly. Does this help?
  25. No, we don't have control over that granular level of searching of the geocaching.com database. I think the only one that can do that is project-gc.
