  1. There is an invisible character getting added, which looks like a space. Make sure to do some testing to see if it is a part of your text template.
  2. I have submitted it a couple of times, but I will keep trying.
  3. No. We need approval from Apple and we have not received this.
  4. No, this isn't a bug, and is the way our Premium Offline Maps are intended to work. Of course we appreciate everyone's opinion.
  5. Yes, this appears to be the root of the problem. I will see if there is anything I can do on my end.
  6. No, as the pointer is specifically a heading indicator, which GPS course cannot do. Think about if you are standing close to a geocache, rotating your body looking for the cache, the compass will provide correction direction for the pointer in relation the tip of your phone, so when looking at the map you know exactly which way you are facing. GPS course cannot do this unless the user walks for a distance.
  7. I am seeing Google Maps and Apple Maps doing the same thing. Can you explain what issues this causes with your usage and as a geocacher? I do not see this as a bug at all.
  8. This is the deceleration of the multi-touch gesture. This is normal for maps and Google and Apple maps both do this when you do a hard pinch or push. Can you let me know what sort if problems this is causing?
  9. In a future version you will be able to see all waypoints on the map, so this should help.
  10. Premium Offline Maps are sourced from OSM data, but are data and styles are picked carefully for our specific Premium Maps. They are not meant to copy OSM styles, as this was not the goal. The goal was to make the best offline map experience for my users.
  11. In your video, can you explain the issue and how this is affecting you? I am not seeing the issue. In your screenshot, it looks like you have a lot of map details turned off. Long press the map layers button and choose the options you want to see: As for colors, this is just personal preference. I have spent years now perfecting how the Premium Offline maps are displayed, so I am very proud of them.
  12. You are tapping the Google Street View button, which will open the map center on Google Street View. If you would like to navigate to a cache, tap the ... button on the top right and you will see the various routing providers there:
  13. In Cachly, you can long press on the map layers button to quickly access previously used maps. Using this method you can quickly switch back and forth between offline and satellite.
  14. Can you show me an example of what you mean? Looking at your screenshots, I think everything looks pretty good in our Premium maps. Can you point out some things that you feel are missing from the Cachly maps? Also, please remember that as with many other iOS map types, map objects will appear as you zoom in. Meaning you will see a more detailed map as you zoom in. Cachly also uses OSM for our map source, but I wouldn't ever copy or use another apps maps.
  15. Hi, I am not sure what you mean, can you explain? Cachly provides navigating using many different apps, and they will show up in the list if those apps are installed.
  16. This is not something that I would use the GPS "course" data for. That is only for when you are moving that it will show the correct direction of movement. The heading indicator is not this. It requires the compass because you can stand stationary in one location and rotate and the course indicator will change using the compass to point you in the direction of the cache based on the top of your device. This is not something that GPS course direction can do, as it doesn't update when a user rotates a compass. I think we should just move on from this topic, unless you have another specific question, as I feel this is getting a bit heated. Thanks.
  17. Yes, there is compass hardware inside of the iPhone, which is what controls the compass in Cachly on the navigate to cache screen, as well as the red heading indicator. If you test the iOS compass app, please see if it performs correctly so we can use it as a comparison.
  18. There are hundreds of thousands if not millions of Geocachers using the various geocaching apps on mobile devices, as well as over 5 years worth of happy Cachly customers. We haven't ever had this issue reported, so that is why I was thinking it could be an issue with the device itself.
  19. Have you tried the test at home, outside of a car? The red arrow on our current location is pointing in the direction of the top of your phone. If this isn't happening, when comparing it to the map you are seeing, then there is likely and issue with the compass in your iPhone.
  20. Thanks for posting those replication steps. I am still working on this bug.
  21. Unfortunately no. I cannot replicate this, and no other user has reported this, so it remains a very curious issue. If you can do some testing, it would be helpful. Have you tried navigating to the cache from a long distance and not turning off your phone to see if you get to the cache and the distance continues to update? One last thing could be that the GPS and location services in your older iPhone isn't working as well anymore, that is just a hunch, but the last thing I can think of.
  22. Yes, this is how it currently works. Do you have any geocaching.com Drafts or pending logs in Cachly that would be changing the count?
  23. If you browse to the Cachly documents folder by going to the Files app in iOS, or on your computer, you can delete the downloading_session_with_config.plist file.
