  1. Yes, there are major updates coming in Cachly 7.0 to our watch app. Most of which have already been completed (waypoints and corrected coordinates) and are in the hands of our beta testers.
  2. Great idea, will work to get this added!
  3. Are either of you using Swisscom?
  4. What country are you located in?
  5. So both offline map downloads and the Cachly website are now working?
  6. This is very strange, we haven't ever had this reported before. We also have beta testers in Switzerland, and they haven't ever had any issues. Are you able to test downloading offline maps on another wifi network, just as a test?
  7. We aren’t able to replicate the issue here, so trying to figure out if this is an issue with Germany data centers or something. I had some reports from other German users, but some don’t have the issue. Will keep digging.
  8. Are you using Wifi? If so, are you connected to a VPN, or is your phone connected to VPN? If not, does it work when you are just on cellular data?
  9. Feel free to ask any questions, but here are some of our other resources: https://www.cach.ly/help https://www.facebook.com/groups/CachlyUserGroup - Thousands of Cachly users to help you.
  10. Thank you. I will do my best to support L4C users that are interesting in moving to Cachly.
  11. Yes, the character limit is 4000 characters. It has been on my list for quite a while, and I hope to get this added in 7.0.
  12. Ah, thank you. That field isn't used in that way anymore, but it looks like there is an issue that puts that placeholder text there. Will fix.
  13. What version are you using? I am looking at the German location strings, and I am not seeing that.

    Australia??

You need to tap the current location button on the bottom right to zoom Cachly back to your location.
  15. Are you wanting this for something like a power trail? In general use, a few extra taps will take very minimal time, but I can see how it would cause issues for a power trail.
  16. There is an invisible character getting added, which looks like a space. Make sure to do some testing to see if it is a part of your text template.
  17. I have submitted it a couple of times, but I will keep trying.
  18. No. We need approval from Apple and we have not received this.
  19. No, this isn't a bug, and is the way our Premium Offline Maps are intended to work. Of course we appreciate everyone's opinion.
  20. Yes, this appears to be the root of the problem. I will see if there is anything I can do on my end.
  21. No, as the pointer is specifically a heading indicator, which GPS course cannot do. Think about if you are standing close to a geocache, rotating your body looking for the cache, the compass will provide correction direction for the pointer in relation the tip of your phone, so when looking at the map you know exactly which way you are facing. GPS course cannot do this unless the user walks for a distance.
  22. I am seeing Google Maps and Apple Maps doing the same thing. Can you explain what issues this causes with your usage and as a geocacher? I do not see this as a bug at all.
  23. This is the deceleration of the multi-touch gesture. This is normal for maps and Google and Apple maps both do this when you do a hard pinch or push. Can you let me know what sort if problems this is causing?
