safari extension for cachly

I'm looking for a way to open a cache from safari (for example when i get a new coord.info link) in cachly. I know that other apps have a safari extension to open the cache in the app. Is it planned to create a safari extension for cachly, or do you know a quick way to open a new cache in cachly?

I open email links such as http://coord.info/GC7A4NP in Cachly by using the Opener app (https://apple.co/2KmzXPz) which does have a share extension if that's what you're looking for. This short screencast illustrates the process: http://bit.ly/2KdRH3B

Will this include opening the links emailed from cache notifications directly on my iPhone? The only option currently is direct into a browser to the cache page and it sucks!

We have not started work on this feature yet as our we are working on many other features in 2.0. Hopefully we could add it soon.

Sorry Bernie, for some reason I was never alerted about this reply.

No, this wouldn't be possible because Groundspeak owns the the coord.info domain, and without being the owner we cannot open those links in Cachly.

Was this ever done? It is one of the few things preventing me from deleting the default geocaching.com app and using Cachly exclusively

No, it can't be done. Nic has no control over that functionality. 

What you can do is copy the GC link from the email and paste it directly into the Cachly search bar.

Or if you know you want the notified cache in an offline list, let it open in Safari and tap the GPX file button and choose to open in Cachly. Then save it in the desired offline list.
