ciarmer
I reviewed forum posts related to searching of offline lists. There was a reference to being able to do a quick search of an offline list in Map view. But I have not been able to find that capability. I am using version 2.0. The ability to search an offline list in List View in the same way that you can search caches in Live view would be a terrific addition (if the capability isn't currently there). If it is possible to search an offline list and I've missed it somehow, please let me know.
Team DEMP
The filtering was just added into 2.0.1 which was just released to the App Store. Update Cachly on your phone and see if the new feature is now available for you. It's not an advanced field search as far as I know but a generic keyword search/filter across the offline caches. ciarmer
Thanks, Team DEMP, for pointing out the new update. That explains why I couldn't find the search functionality!!

Yes, it is just a simple quick search. A more advanced filtering feature will be added in 2.1. ElectroQTed
ElectroQTed
I'm finding that the offline list search doesn't work very well for me because it's case sensitive. Some people put their cache names in all caps, some in lower case, some are mixed. Is there a way to search so that case doesn't matter? The text comparison sets strings to lowercase for matching so this shouldn't be an issue, but I will look into what is going on. Do you have a GC code I can test? ElectroQTed
I can repeat this in any offline list. In the search bar, just type in any word in the cache name at the top of the list, but change the case of any character. That cache won't show up. ChrisDen
Yep. After battling to find a cache on an offline list I found that the search is case sensitive. V3?
