  1. Yes. This is the Cache Note option when you are viewing a cache. It will be synced as well.
  2. Still trying to figure out how to replicate this...
  3. All updates come from geocaching.com when you refresh caches, so if there is not a corrected coordinate it will be overwritten with the "new" data that was just downloaded. Are you able to upload the corrected coordinates to geocaching.com from GSAK?
  4. This isn't currently possible to open Cachly and force it to go to an Offline List. Cachly is an "online first" app with powerful offline features. However, I think it would be a good idea to add an option to allow completely offline loading of Cachly. I will add this to our list. Thanks!
  5. I don't see it being added as a main tab anytime soon. However in the future we plan to allow customization of tabs.
  6. Still struggling to reproduce this. I will keep trying this week.
  7. I thought this might be the issue. I have so far been hesitant to fix this without more testing and here is why: Say you have an offline list with 2000 caches. GPS returns a new location update every second or so. This would be the time to then update all the caches with the new location. However, you could imagine how this could start to turn into an issue if every second we tried to loop through 2000 caches and update their distance. Memory and CPU usage would be high. To solve this issue I am going to update all caches at a longer interval, say 30 seconds. This should fix the bug while also not overwhelming iOS with trying to update a large amount of caches each second. Will work on fixing this bug. Thanks everyone for the testing and input.
  8. Is this what you were hoping to see? That rail type is called funicular: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:railway=funicular?uselang=en-US It looks like we were missing the style definitions for that type of railway, but I have added them now so that those types of railways show. Thanks for alerting me about this!
  9. Glad to hear that it worked so well! Let me know if you run into any issues.
  10. Strange, I cannot replicate this. Does this happen every time?
  11. Thanks, that would be easy to change. This is something that I have looked into but I am worried about the extra file size that it will add to the map downloads. It is still on our list.
  12. Done! I fixed this in a few other places as well. Once place I didn't change it is where we use Google Translate. In this case I think it works well to not have to open Safari.
  13. I think that this is an excellent idea. Will get it added to our list and it should be very easy to get added.
  14. We will always continue working to make things better and more usable. So I will make a note of this and see what we can come up with.
  15. Thanks! I have always loved Invision Power Board and used it for over 10 years for another product. When I built Cachly I knew that is what I wanted to use, and have never regretted it!
  16. Does this happen if you load a list in one location and then travel to a new location and then try the sorting? Or, does this happen if you are stationary (say, at home) and you load the list and then try to sort by distance?
  17. We do have a cancel option on our list of features to add. In the meantime will the option to turn those image downloads off work for you? There is a Settings option for that.
  18. I had someone else report this as well. Is anyone able to find steps to replicate reliably? I have been trying but can't. Want to get this fixed ASAP.
  19. Well that is good news. Let me know how the additional testing goes. Thanks!
  20. @AnyMules I just pushed out the 2.0.2 beta that includes this new fix/feature. Let me know if you are able to test this. Thanks!
  21. Thanks for the compliments. Let me know if you notice any more map objects that are not showing at certain zoom levels or things you might have input on changing.
  22. This is a good idea. Will fix this. I think removing the option to merge a list with itself is the clear choice here. I think that should solve the issue you had? In 2.0.1 copying and merging DOES remove duplicates. We do a check between the two lists and if we find a duplicate, we only keep the newest one. Matching is done on the unique GC code. Yes, this is possible by viewing the offline list, then tapping the ... button and choosing the Update Caches option.
  23. Yes, it is just a simple quick search. A more advanced filtering feature will be added in 2.1.
  24. Simplicity and intuitiveness sometimes go hand and hand, and are sometimes at odds. We have tried to keep both in mind on this screen. There are a lot of controls that a user can invoke, but I think that the screen still works. We are using the standard iOS swipe to reveal feature, which is used throughout iOS. The iOS Mail app does this exact thing, and this is what Cachly's Offline List swipe feature is modeled after: Hope this helps explain a bit of our thinking when planning the UI and user experience.
