  1. But we have sorting that comes into play. User might have sorted their list.
  2. I very much like the idea behind this as I too have wished I could quickly find a cache in the list that I see on the map. However my only thought it how I also like to scroll through list view and leave it at a certain place, then browse the map and return to list. If it had been scrolled for each cache I tapped I would be really confused as a user. So, I think there would need to be a user setting to turn this on.
  3. Release version has very poor coordinate parsing as it uses an Apple iOS API to lookup locations. In 3.0 we use our own parser. In the release version coordinates in the format 48.123, -120.123 work the best.
  4. Let me know how that goes and if it seems to fix the issue.
  5. We will look into the issue, although it is hard to debug without getting some more debug info from your device.
  6. Any other apps don't seem to have problems with the compass?
  7. What version of Cachly are you using and what device? Are you able to reproduce this issue every time? Or just randomly?
  8. Yes, this the is preferred way of doing it. But I will add the menu option for Live caches as well.
  9. Yes, it would for sure be a user option to turn this on or off. Hoping to add this to an upcoming version.
  10. Those checkmarks are the "found but not logged" checkmarks. Did you at one point submit a Field Note for these and then delete that on geocaching.com? We will be adding a feature to clear these checkmarks.
  11. Yes, this will be a Settings option.
  12. Strange. Sorry about that issue!
  13. This indeed is a bug in Cachly. I have fixed this in 2.1.
  14. Thank you. I will start extensive testing on this very soon.
  15. This is very strange that it would zoom you out to show the full US when you just tap a cache. I have never seen this before. Does this happen on all Offline Lists? What about the Live tab?
  16. Thanks. Will look further into the error.
  17. Interesting suggestion. Yes, this would be possible since that data is available in the location data form the GPS chip. There would have to be a warning/explanation for users if this was the case since it would no longer behave like a compass. This would take some extensive testing, but I do think it would be possible.
  18. Cachly doesn't support this right now. We haven't yet implemented this because it would require background location updates which take more battery. We have this on our list for adding in the future.
  19. Strange. So this was just on first load and it works fine now?
  20. The gear icon should turn green if you have any search filters turned on. Was this the case?
  21. It looks like geocaching.com no longer allows slashes in usernames, which is a good thing. Usernames that already have them obviously won't be touched.
  22. This is in More, then Settings. Is this what you were looking for?
  23. I just looked through the API and it doesn't seem like this is possible.
  24. You can do this in Cachly. Just tap the current location button to cycle though follow modes. These are completely different in Cachly because the official app uses privates API's for their lists. They allow creating of lists (bookmark lists) from their app that are then created on the server. They don't give third-party developers this ability. This was a distinct decision to make Cachly work how it does and keep it different from how the official app works. It works much more like the classic app in this regard. I guess we will just have to agree to disagree as I think this is something I dislike the most about the official app. Happy to discuss anything else!
  25. Sorry for the late reply. I think all questions were answered. Was there any missed that I need to answer?
