  1. Strange. Line breaks should be preserved. I will dig a bit deeper and get this fixed in our next release. Thank you for reporting it!
  2. Thanks for downloading Cachly! If you tap on the More tab, then go to Bookmarks, and to a bookmark list, you will see the ... button on the top right. This will allow you to download it as an offline list with maps. Is this what you were hoping for? Yes, live maps are coming, but first we are making some changes to offline map downloads that will make things much easier and faster. Let me know if you have any other questions!

We are a very small development team, so at this point focusing on iOS only makes the most sense.
  4. Hi Jenn, we will be adding the "Login with Facebook" option in our upcoming 1.0.7 version of Cachly. Sorry about the inconvenience!
  5. Hi Louise, Cachly has been tested with a number of GCA GPX files and everything was working correctly. I would be more than happy to use your file and fix those issues ASAP and have the fixes in Cachly 1.0.7. I will email you too so that I can get the file. Very sorry about the issues that this caused. I have every intention of fully supporting GCA caches, so I would like to fix this. Thanks!
  6. Glad to hear that! Tell your friends!
  7. No, this isn't currently possible. However you could create a Pocket Query along a route and then import this into Cachly. Yes, after you have loaded some caches you will see that the refresh button (top right of the caches map screen) has a ... inside. This means that there are more caches to load. Tap that to continue loading more and more.
  8. No, there are no plans to change the map icons at this time. In the upcoming 1.0.7 version of Cachly, tapping the current location will copy the coordinates into the iOS clipboard, which can be very useful. It isn't possible to place a Geocache from any app out there, even the official Groundspeak app. They want everyone to go through the website. However, we are working on a feature to be able to pre-create a cache using Cachly. So you would be able to compose an email with all the details you would need to create a cache once you are able to go to geocaching.com to do so. Hope this helps.
  9. Thanks! There currently isn't a way to change the map pin icons. Cache types are represented by their color, but you can see the geocaching icons when you tap on the pin, or view them in list view. If you are seeing only Traditional caches then you must be a geocaching.com Regular user. Just like the Geocaching official app, Groundspeak limits us to only showing Traditional caches unless you are a Premium member of geocaching.com.
  10. Thank you! Glad you are liking using Cachly! Souvenirs are something that is on our feature list and will be out in an upcoming version of Cachly. Messages however is something that Groundspeak hasn't provided for third-party developers, so at this point we are not able to implement it. If, in the future this changes we will be sure to add it right away.
  11. I will be attending GeoWoodstock this year and will be promoting Cachly in a number of ways. Let me know if you will be there so we can meet-up!
  12. At some point did you Deny permission to your camera and photos? Either way, check your iOS Settings > Privacy > Photos to make sure that Cachly has permission to access your photos. You are using the current version of Cachly, correct?
  13. Glad you love using Cachly! Live Maps are something that have been on our Feature Roadmap for a while, and we hope to get it added very soon. New Offline Maps will be first and then we can start focusing on some more large features like Live Maps.
  14. Apple doesn't allow demos which is unfortunate. But shoot me off an email, support@cach.ly and we can chat about other options.
  15. Hi Kristin, When you get a GPX file in an email you will see it as an attachment. Press and hold on that attachment and it will give you some options. One is to “Copy to Cachly” which will open the file in Cachly and bring up the import screen, allowing you to create an offline list. Hope this helps!
  16. Great idea. Will get that added to our features list and have it added in 1.0.5!
  17. Yes, this feature is available already. When on the Cache Details screen tap the ... in the top right, then choose "Save to Offline List". It will then allow you to choose a list to add that cache to, or to create a new one. Hope this helps!
  18. Currently this isn't possible, but this has been suggested by others too, and it something that will be added in 1.0.5.
  19. Thanks! I saw this too and just fixed it today! Will be out in our 1.0.4 version.
  20. I have finally figured out the issue causing this and fixed it. Was a very tricky one to find, but it came down to the file name not getting read, so the Pocket Query was unzipped incorrectly. It has been tested and fixed now, so will be out in the 1.0.4 App Store version as well as our weekly betas.
  21. I had, but I did it again and finally got it to crash. Will look into the issue and report back here. Thanks!
  22. I did some testing and created the PQ's with the germanic naming. It is working to import them with the germanic naming. What version of Cachly are you using? 1.0.3?
  23. Yeah, very sorry about this change. The changes we had to make were required of us. If we can change anything back in the future we will for sure do so. Sorry about the issues that this caused for you.
