  1. Yes, you can zoom into photos if that photo is larger than your phone screen. So if there is a photo that isn't, you won't be able to zoom in any more. We will work to fix that so you can zoom into any photo.
  2. I will test it on a few more devices and see if I can replicate it. Thanks!
  3. We never experienced this in testing and I can't replicate it. If you delete Cachly and reinstall, does that fix the issue?
  4. Strange. I was just trying to replicate this and I can't. Can you replicate this reliably?
  5. The issue where it gets reset when pinching in/out was fixed in 1.1. Have you upgraded to that version? As for setting a mode as a default, there isn't currently a way to do this. But, just a though that I could build it so that if you long press on a mode it would "lock" that mode. what do you think?
  6. Yes, this is something that is planned an on the feature list. Hope to get it added very soon!
  7. The lock icon simply locks manual map rotation. The map will rotate automatically when in the heading follow mode, but you won't be able to rotate it manually until it is unlocked. Does that clear things up? Can you explain this more? What feature is missing?
  8. To search using "hidden by", tap the gear icon which is inside of the search bar. This will show you all of the search options. If you had already found this and it still isn't working, what isn't working? Was there an error?
  9. Thanks Laura, we will continue to work on it and hopefully have it out very soon.
  10. Currently there isn't a way to do this, but it is on our list for a future version. Will bump up the priority. Thanks!
  11. Thanks for the suggestion. I think this would be a great feature, and I will get it added to our feature list. Thanks!
  12. Looks like cache radius on a large number of caches cause an issue. Looking into it.
  13. Yes, it does seem to load slow, which is strange. I will look into what is going on. Also, will look into caching tiles like you mentioned. Let me know if you have any other questions!
  14. You are in luck. All of these features are already available. What you are looking for is Search Options. These can be accessed by tapping the gear icon that is inside of the search bar. That will give you a plethora of search options including hide my finds and choosing what cache type to search for.
  15. This is currently in the works. Many of the features are intuitive, but because there are so many features we want to provide a help manual as well for that. When ready, it will be available under the More tab.

Cachly has a very small development team. So at this point, in order to support our current users and push forward in development we need to focus on iOS. Trying to focus on both platforms at this point would stifle innovation on our part. Sorry about that, I hope we can support Android in the future!
  17. Glad you are enjoying using it! To turn this feature on, go to the More tab, then to Settings and turn on the "Cache Radius" option.
  18. There currently isn't a way to show map scale, but it is on the feature list. Hope to get it added soon.
  19. No problem. When you are on a map view, tap the current location button on the bottom right of the map. It looks like an arrow and has a white background. Tapping that again will take you through the different follow modes, the last being "follow with heading". Let me know if this works for you.
  20. Could you email me the .gpx file for this PQ? You mentioned the cache radius feature is enabled, and I have a feeling you are running out of memory. Basically, you are loading 1000 map annotations (caches) onto the map, as well as drawing an overlay (circle radius) around many of those caches. That is quite a lot of memory for iOS and it likely maxes out and the app gets killed. But, I can test it more when I see the file.
  21. Thanks. I will reopen that issue and do some more digging.
  22. Glad to hear it. Thanks for reporting!
  23. Thanks Keith for reporting this, and thanks for the GC code. I will look into getting this fixed.
  24. When opening an offline list while still online, it won't make any requests to the server, it will load those caches locally. However, it will try to load maps while you are still online. Offline map downloading should work, just make sure to download the adequate zoom level so you will have enough resolution when offline. We are working on a simplified offline map downloader were you won't have to worry about zoom levels or map type.
  25. Sorry for the confusion. Are you meaning in these support forums when you said Cachly web account? If so, the support forums are not linked to the Cachly app. The friends within Cachly are only accessible within the app. Let me know if I didn't clarify or if you have any other questions!
