LSbatman got a reaction from ZajZeb in Crash with tap on Cluster
I have clustering selected. If I display a map of an offline list and tap on a cluster, Cachly crashes.
    Cachly 7.1.1(1)

LSbatman got a reaction from Nic Hubbard in Personal Cache Note Update Problem
I noticed the problem when (1) I deleted the personal cache note on several caches and then (2) visited those cache pages on the website 30 minutes later and noticed that the note was still present.
Thinking I may have done something wrong, I was able to repeat the problem. That was the only reason I did an immediate update to see if the deletion was posted.
After receiving your information, I tested again and waited a few minutes after the deletion and confirmed that the deletion was not posted.

If you found a cache, then adopted it, it would not display with the EXCLUDE MY FINDS filter turned on.

The maps have been restored to a previous version. We will be working on diagnosing the bug that caused this. Thanks again for reporting!

That is exactly what I am doing now. I’m just trying to eliminate a step and have it work like Dropbox downloads. No worries. I’m am quite happy with the app.

Thank you. I thought I searched everywhere before admitting defeat. But alas, I did not check there.

Well, now I cannot repeat the problem. But I really did encounter it multiple times before reporting it. I wanted to make sure i could duplicate it. So please consider the problem closed.  If I ever encounter it again, I will do a screen shot.

This is just a good news update. After installing version 3.1(2) and caching for 14 continuous days with offline data, I had no further problems with lost databases.

LSbatman got a reaction from Kyzabra in Navigate to Cache: Distance
In the "Navigate to Cache" mode, the distance is displayed at the top of the map. When I cache offline, I use this mode while driving the car with the phone sitting in a dashboard cradle. I like to view the distance but the font is too small to read while driving.
Is it possible to increase the font size?
Also, is it possible to automatically adjust the map scale as one gets closer to the cache, showing both your location and GZ?

LSbatman got a reaction from Nic Hubbard in New Caches at an Event without a GPX file
I have a small GPX file in GSAK to mark trailheads in our city. I imported this into Cachly, it shows the "caches" on the map, I can mark them as found (saving as a draft), and the icon on the map gets a check mark signifying the find. This will work out fine to get through the event day, allowing me to plan an efficient route to the caches. I can always straighten everything out once the caches are actually published. And maybe, groundspeak will accept the find if I have the correct GC number entered in Cachly.

Thanks to everyone for the responses. I am a long time Geosphere user, have been evaluating Cachly off and on for a year, and made the final switchover to Cachly with the 3.0.1 release. I'm looking forward to receiving 3.0.2 and trying some large offline lists.

The large file contains all the caches within Missouri. I really do not need them all to load into the map but just a much smaller number within a radius of my location. Thanks for your efforts.
