Were you meaning integrate with Project GC to include their checker in Cachly?

koc256 reacted to Ajax in Can't see lab adventures when difficulty filter is applied
Hmm, OK, but if I can express my feelings, I have always filtered out T5 caches, I don't do them. And if I disable terrain filter, I can see labs, but also, I see lot of caches, which I can't grab. It would be nice if I can show labs and also, do terrain filter. I mean, why remove labs, when filter is applied? I understand, they does not have terrain rating, but if someone want to hide them, there is switch for it. So, my idea is: show them always and if someone don't want to see them, there is already button for it...
BTW: lab stages are the best function I have ever seen! Thanks!

Hi!
I found strange behavior of cachly. If I set difficulty filter to anything else than 1 -> 5, app does not show lab caches. Is it expected or is it bug?
Thanks for answer

This is expected behavior. Lab caches do not have a difficulty, so when you apply a filter like that, it excludes labs.

koc256 reacted to markens in Map slowly wanders all over the place when location jumps
I've noticed this as well, very bizarre behavior. No idea how to replicate it since it happens when re-opening the app after being on the move. I'll try to notice whether it matters if cachly is running in foreground or not, and more specific details about when this behavior occurs.

koc256 reacted to barefootguru in Map slowly wanders all over the place when location jumps
If I open up Cachly again after moving location, say 50 km, then hit the current location arrow, Cachly will sometimes do a slow wander around the map until finally arriving at the current location — it can take 5+ seconds. I think this is new in the last few updates. Pretty sure the phone has got my new location before then, so would rather Cachly jumped straight to my current location :]
Offline maps, latest Cachly and iOS.

koc256 reacted to Nic Hubbard in LABs GPX in ZIP file - import issue
Only one file per .zip is supported. You will need to import the GPX files one at a time, or have one GPX compressed in the .zip.

koc256 reacted to smi9t in Navigation using mapy.cz
Hello,
I would like to ask you if there is a possibility to implement support of mapy.cz (https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/mapy-cz/id411411020) as a routing provider. Thank you very much for letting me know. It would make the user experience of using your app much better.

Golden scenario (3 steps):
choice cache navigation log
Reality:
choice cache from the map/list click on the navigation button click back click on the button for logging (+ save) click back It would be better to allow logging directly from navigation, where after saving log the navigation would be canceled and I would return to the default view (map / list).
The number of clicks would be reduced from six to four.

I hate powertrails.
When I do an action over and over again, I try to think about how to make it friendlier.
I'm just thinking about how to make it better.

koc256 got a reaction from Nic Hubbard in Bad maps layers
OK
All maps have similar behavior, and only one has different behavior.
For me, this behavior is an obstacle to use. But is your app and your decision.
Thank You for your time for communication.

In a future version you will be able to see all waypoints on the map, so this should help.

koc256 reacted to Nic Hubbard in Change default provider for navigate
You are tapping the Google Street View button, which will open the map center on Google Street View.
If you would like to navigate to a cache, tap the ... button on the top right and you will see the various routing providers there:

In Cachly, you can long press on the map layers button to quickly access previously used maps. Using this method you can quickly switch back and forth between offline and satellite.
