  1. This is something that we are addressing in our 3.0 update.
  2. I will make sure to add the UTM format to our 3.0 version of Cachly.
  3. Here is what Groundspeak said about this:
  4. This issue is fixed in our upcoming 3.0 version.
  5. This is in the App Store version as well. Are you able to use the decimal format for your GPS?
  6. The geocaching.com servers have been particularly slow for this, and I am not sure why...it is frustrating.
  7. Sadly this is a limitation of the geocaching.com API. Caches are loading from thier original location, so the results returned don't take the corrected coordinate location into account if it is outside of the search range.
  8. This is loading Live caches? Are you using some search options? Is this on wifi or LTE? In testing it seems very fast for me. If there is an issue this would be coming from the geocaching.com servers since we use their API. Has anyone else had this issue?
  9. So the double logging happened when submitting Pending Logs?
  10. Looking into this. Thanks for the video. Will let you know what I find.
  11. Yes they do. Username has been what was used so if we transitioned over to user ID we would have to figure out a way to update all offline lists and user preferences to use the numerical ID instead of username.
  12. This wasn't necessarily the question here. It was only about offline lists. Cachly won't be supporting multiple logged in accounts like Looking4Cache does.
  13. This is likely because you have the "fit to map" option on along with "Automatic Search on Start", since once the pins load it will zoom the map to fit all of the pins. Does this sound about right?
  14. So it worked when you changed that?
  15. That "Save to Dropbox" is actually a feature of iOS and isn't something that we have implemented in Cachly itself, it is just part of the iOS "share sheet". So, because of this I am not quite sure what the issue could be. I did just test it and it works correctly for me. It seems that other drobox users have this same issue happening from a variety of apps: https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Syncing-and-uploads/quot-Couldn-t-Upload-File-No-Internet-connection-or-couldn-t/td-p/64002/page/5 Can you try logging out of the Dropbox app then log back in?
  16. I am trying to figure out the best way to move forward with this. Currently offline lists, pending logs and saved locations are tied to your username. So if you login with another user they won't see these. Recently some users haven't realized/know this and changed their usernames only to login and appear to have lost everything. Should this be removed in 3.0 and these are no longer shown to only the users who created them? I think the official app works how Cachly currently does. To me it seems logical how it works now. But some users don't. Thoughts on this and what to do for 3.0?
  17. You can also press and hold on a map to drop a pin, then drag that pin to a location. Or tap your current location and press the + button. From there you will see an option to Save Location. This can help in placing caches. At least it is helpful for me.
  18. You to go to More, then Settings and turn on the cache radius option. This will show the radius you are looking for.
  19. Yes, you can tap the refresh button (top right) and it will load caches based on the center of the map and in a 50k meter radius. Just make sure that Cachly has found your current location first, or that you tap the current location button (bottom right on map) to center it over your location. Is this what you meant? ** Also tapping the gear icon in the search field will show you all the Search Options available.
  20. Good idea. Will look into fixing this.
  21. Groundspeak/geocaching.com imposes a restriction on the API that all third-party apps use (and their official app has this limitation). They restrict Regular users to viewing 3 full caches per day, which means hint and description. They also limit only seeing Traditional caches. I completely understand that this is a very low number of caches, but we unfortunately are not able to change this. This is NOT a limitation of Cachly, but a limitation that geocaching.com imposes on us. geocaching.com wants users to have a Premium membership, which in turn allows Cachly to display more data and raises the daily cache views to 6000.
  22. I hadn't tested it in the field, only on the computer. So I do agree it would be super annoying.
  23. I did build the feature the way it currently functions. But, I do see your point and will fix this for beta 6.
