I do understand that without a log or debugging you are blind. Personally, I ask "a customer" to enable debug logging for a short period of time and gather log files. Anyway I am open to help you out. Just tell me what to do
Do you have another device such as an iPad that you could test this same scenario on?
-
I am just not sure how to proceed since I am not able to replicate this issue, and not sure how our steps are differing, as they seem the same.

Test gpx file. I am using the latest version of iOS (13.5.1) on iPhone SE.
That link opened up Dropbox and from there I was able to successfully import into Cachly. Here is a GPX file I uploaded to the Cachly website, are you able to use the share option in Safari and open it in Cachly?

I downloaded it via Safari - so from Safari's download context menu. And I tried it from Files app (from Downloads folder) as well.
EDIT: Then I compressed the gpx file directly inside Files app and imported the compressed file into Cachly.
Do you have a link to this specific GPX file so I can test it? Also, what version of iOS are you using?

Hi there. Is there any progress related to this issue? Currently, I am able to compress gpx file and import it into Cachly. But I am not able to import a gpx file directly - if I try to do that, I select output list and Cachly displays a popup saying "Processing..." with the wheel spinning indefinitely.
Where are you trying to import the GPX file from?
-
Yes, Cachly is only available for certain types. Hope to add them all soon.

Have you tried using Highlights? This allows you to mark caches with a color, and you could mark the caches that you have in an offline list and they will also be marked in the live view. You can also do bulk highlighting of an entire list of needed.

Thanks for reporting this, will get it fixed!

@Judy Franklin It looks like you are not using iOS 13, which is required by the new Trackable Scanner. You are seeing the previous trackable QR code scanner. Are you able to upgrade to iOS 13?

You can see the map legend on our Help website: https://www.cach.ly/help/index.php/Premium_Offline_Map_Legend This is a work in progress and will continue to receive updates.

Not sure how this bug got introduced, but I will get it fixed in our 6.0.2 update. Thanks.

Yes, unfortunately this is intended behavior. I am hoping in a future version to allow logic to be a part of the template.

Thanks for the suggestion!

I love that! Thank you!
Just letting you know that this feature was released in our 6.0.1 version. Let me know how it works for you!

Thanks, will investigate.

Cachly does part markdown which is what is being used for those links, but yes, providing a GC code for where those logs are would be great. Thanks.

This looks a lot more readable. What do you think?

What do you feel would make our offline maps better and something you would use?
-
@kosunde I just did some testing and I was able to get 2x rendering working in Cachly pretty easily. For additional testing, I would like to test the map tile URL that you were showing screenshots. If you can't share it here, could you email it to support@cach.ly?
-
2x isn't something I have planned currently. However, can you provide some example tile URLs and the app that you are showing screenshots of?
I would encourage you to try our Premium Offline Maps. I have worked for almost 2 years on the styles and readability of these maps.

On that same screen, scroll even further down to find Cachly. Is iCloud enabled for Cachly? If not, make sure to turn it on.
-
In 6.0, Apple Maps, Google Maps and our Premium Offline Maps all support accessible font sizes (larger font sizes). When you use the iOS accessibility settings to change iOS to larger font sizes, the maps will also update and show larger text sizes.
Are you not seeing this happen? If not, can you make sure you are upgraded to 6.0 and show some screenshots?

Having trouble with highlights. I highlighted several offline lists and named them. Later, after logging out and returning, the labels are back to color names and all lists that I highlighted are red. What am I doing wrong here?
Are you logged into iCloud? iCloud is used for highlighting since it will sync these to other devices and to the iCloud server.

There are many different icons that can show up on the pins, so we would need to make it work with the design, and likely be a user option that is off by default.
In the meantime, the note icon does appear on the map callout and in list view, if this helps. See screenshots:
