Starsqual 0 Report post Posted January 5, 2017 Hello, I'm from Belgium. I use to work with Cachly and i like it. Few month ago the were an option while I save the offline caches to save the same time the offline map. Now this option is not there. Can someone help me to save the offline maps for geocaching when there is no 3G available and in other countries? i have an iPhone 6s thank you very much
Team DEMP 120 Report post Posted January 5, 2017 On the main map page that is displayed when you launch Cachly, click on the map icon displayed at the bottom. It's the icon with 3 stacked squares. In the map window that opens, the top option is Download Offline Maps. Click Download Offline Maps, then Europe and then Belgium or whatever countries you want to have offline. I hope that helps. 3 Bunkshyde, Nic Hubbard and AnyMules reacted to this
barefootguru 67 Report post Posted January 6, 2017 @Starsqual the reason for this change — and simplification — is that Cachly now downloads vector-based maps rather than 'tiles'. This means an entire state or country is the same size map download as a single caching area previously. So if your caching is in a single state/country you download once and forget about it. 2 Nic Hubbard and AnyMules reacted to this
