  1. Go to the More tab and tap Logout on the top right.
  2. Can you try logging out then back in to Cachly?
  3. Yes, I think that is correct. Thanks!
  4. The FTF feature is for finding caches that have yet to be found so that you can go and get an FTF on that cache.
  5. Cachly's colored pins correspond to the colors of cache types, Traditional is green, multi is orange, mystery is blue, etc. Geocaching uses icons on theirs also. The red triangles you are seeing means you have a corrected coordinate for that cache. Let me know if you have any other questions.
  6. I have tested this way probably hundreds to thousands of times over the years. I do not think it can accurately replicate the issue here.
  7. Cachly was for sure closed and then found a location, however I was using offline maps the entire time, so I didn't test that scenario.
  8. Were you moving or stationary when you were not getting location updates?
  9. This should have no bearing on location services in iOS unless there is a deep bug in iOS that is not from Cachly. I still have not experienced this issue myself. This weekend I was camping with no service for 3 days and we able to get my location in Cachly the entire time. Absolutely not doubting the issue is happening for some users, but I cannot yet pinpoint the cause.
  10. Thanks, will make sure to update this. Not sure. These log types come from the API and are marked for owners.
  11. This is a bug that has been fixed in our 3.0.3 version, which will be out next week.
  12. Sorry guys, this was a beta bug. Has been fixed in the newest beta.
  13. This is the Cachly login screen. geocaching.com had server outages that affected all sites and apps, so this was the cause. In 3.0.3 we give the option to not be logged out when there is an API error like this.
  14. Thanks. Unfortunately this is just the way that the follow modes work in iOS. We are not programming that zoom, iOS maps are. So at this point we aren't able to change it.
  15. I personally much prefer using decimal degrees since it seems more logical to me, and that is what is needed internally when programming. However since Geocaching mostly uses DDM that is what we provide most anywhere. For this one-off instance, could you just use a DDM to decimal converter online such as https://www.pgc.umn.edu/apps/convert ?
  16. No, it is just in the dialog where you can save your offline list and choose lite or full data.
  17. We must have an option to download lite caches so that Regular users are able to use the offline feature. You can choose the Full option and Cachly will remember that option for next time, so you won't have to worry about accidentally downloading lite caches, since Full will be auto-selected for you if you used that last.
  18. Yes, we have decided to not change how it currently works.
  19. I have tested GC4C3D8 and it imported correctly into GSAK. Can you send me the GPX that is having issues?
  20. I have tried to replicate this many times, including today driving from an area with excellent service, to the National Forest with no service. Cachly had no issues with following my location. I have also tested this hundreds of times over the last 5 years, so it is for sure a tricky thing to debug. I think the one thing to try is to quit Cachly. Possibly if there is a Location Services bug in iOS that would help it to start using GPS rather than just cell tower triangulation.
  21. They just don't show up on geocaching.com. Wish they did!
  22. Waypoints are part of the geocaching.com API. They are synced with the API server and can be seen in any API apps that support that feature.
  23. When you save offline, you can save Lite caches and it will save those instantaneous since it already has that data from the search. If you want full data then that has to be requested from the server, 50 caches per request since that is the max the API allows. This is the same limitation that any other API app has.
  24. I am not sure what you are saying here. What action are you doing that takes 20 minutes? Cachly does use a true database. If you are not happy how it works please let me know how we can make it better.
