  1. We are very sorry about this issue. For some reason, we are not yet sure why, a very small number of users have had database corruption while upgrading. This is not something that showed up during beta testing over the last few months, so we are still looking into the cause. Again, very sorry about the inconvenience that this has caused.

  3. This I am not sure of. When out in the field did you wait for an extended period of time to see if a location was received? If not, how long did you wait?
  4. Send me an email at support@cach.ly and we will see what else we can try. Thanks!
  5. If possible, could you send me your database? You would need to open iTunes on your computer, go to your phone, then Apps and scroll down to the File Sharing section. Once there choose Cachly and you will see the following documents: Cachly.sqlite Cachly.sqlite-shm Cachly.sqlite-wal If you are able to save those to your desktop and then send them to me through Dropbox I would be able to look into the database and see what that data isn’t being shown in Cachly.
  6. Hmm. On the More tab, in Usage how large does it say your database is?
  7. Go to the More tab and tap Logout on the top right.
  8. Can you try logging out then back in to Cachly?
  9. Yes, I think that is correct. Thanks!
  10. The FTF feature is for finding caches that have yet to be found so that you can go and get an FTF on that cache.
  11. Cachly's colored pins correspond to the colors of cache types, Traditional is green, multi is orange, mystery is blue, etc. Geocaching uses icons on theirs also. The red triangles you are seeing means you have a corrected coordinate for that cache. Let me know if you have any other questions.
  12. I have tested this way probably hundreds to thousands of times over the years. I do not think it can accurately replicate the issue here.
  13. Cachly was for sure closed and then found a location, however I was using offline maps the entire time, so I didn't test that scenario.
  14. Were you moving or stationary when you were not getting location updates?
  15. This should have no bearing on location services in iOS unless there is a deep bug in iOS that is not from Cachly. I still have not experienced this issue myself. This weekend I was camping with no service for 3 days and we able to get my location in Cachly the entire time. Absolutely not doubting the issue is happening for some users, but I cannot yet pinpoint the cause.
  16. Thanks, will make sure to update this. Not sure. These log types come from the API and are marked for owners.
  17. This is a bug that has been fixed in our 3.0.3 version, which will be out next week.
  18. Sorry guys, this was a beta bug. Has been fixed in the newest beta.
  19. This is the Cachly login screen. geocaching.com had server outages that affected all sites and apps, so this was the cause. In 3.0.3 we give the option to not be logged out when there is an API error like this.
  20. Thanks. Unfortunately this is just the way that the follow modes work in iOS. We are not programming that zoom, iOS maps are. So at this point we aren't able to change it.
  21. I personally much prefer using decimal degrees since it seems more logical to me, and that is what is needed internally when programming. However since Geocaching mostly uses DDM that is what we provide most anywhere. For this one-off instance, could you just use a DDM to decimal converter online such as https://www.pgc.umn.edu/apps/convert ?
  22. No, it is just in the dialog where you can save your offline list and choose lite or full data.
  23. We must have an option to download lite caches so that Regular users are able to use the offline feature. You can choose the Full option and Cachly will remember that option for next time, so you won't have to worry about accidentally downloading lite caches, since Full will be auto-selected for you if you used that last.
