I see what you mean. But I don’t understand why it showed no one was logged in but shows to log out. It’s all worked out now.
So it seems to be working now? If so, there could have been an error on the geocaching.com API side that was causing the server errors.

Can you verify that you did use the Logout option on the More tab, and then logged into Cachly again?

If I open the app that message is the first thing I see. If I click the OK and then try to login that message comes up again no matter what I do that message comes up.
Did you specifically use the Logout option on the More tab though?

This shouldn't ever be needed as it will remove all of your saved data.

Same one in the image above
You had said you couldn't login, so I had assumed that meant you couldn't get past the login screen.
If you logout of Cachly and then login again, does this help?

Nope still can’t log in to the app
When errors do you get when trying to login? Can you please show us a screenshot?

You said you cannot log back in, but is that working for you now? Does other things in Cachly give the same error for you such as viewing your profile?

Same issue here! The nearby function has worked before, but today it stopped working. Restarting applewatch didn't work. Hope you find the solution. Thanks!
Yes, this has to do with the new API. We are hoping to push out a fix for this in our 5.1.5 update.

Thanks, will look into the issue.

My question is: What action triggers a change in a personal note to be sent to GC.com?
When you leave the personal note section, that is saved and synced to geocaching.com. We haven't ever had reports of an issue with this. Where these Live or Offline caches (they both sync)?

I have tried the restart, but unfortunately it doesn't help.
This seems to be happening because of the access token expiring for the geocaching.com API. We will work to fix this issue.

In 5.0 we added the option to view a pending log right from the details screen using the log button. If you want to create another log for that cache you need to long press the button.

Thanks for explaining and for the suggestion!
I do feel this is quite an advanced feature that I am not sure how many users would use. I will note it, but I can't make promises about getting it added.

If there is a way to have more than one saved search filter I am unaware of it.
Yes, you can turn on as many of the filters as you want. You are saying this isn't working? You are meaning Live filtering?
55 minutes ago, diorex said:Search results will still show 30 closest caches but the one with the Orange highlight tag say 5 miles away would draw attention that probably would otherwise be ignored because it is not one of the closest 4-5 caches.
Can you explain this a bit more?

As I approach the cache location, I am trying to identify where I want to park, best approach etc. My phone is still on the routing app (and probably in sleep mode) so I have to switch back to cachly to look at sat view and cache location, but it has almost always reset/lost/forgotten the cache I was looking for and now I have to do a new search for the cache that 5-10 minutes ago I essentially told the app I was headed to find.
This is iOS killing Cachly in the background because it wants more memory for other apps. In Settings you can use the History option to view that previous cache.
1 hour ago, diorex said:Minor issue but it would seem that if we exit the app on a routing path, that the app could somehow flag the cache to remain in memory so that it is pre-loaded and open when we return to cachly.
There are ways to do this and we are working to have this in a future version.

Currently Red is my #1 find this cache type, but when I added Blue to all caches on another offline list - any of my red caches that were also on the blue list got overwritten and now show as blue.
Each cache only have one instance in the offline database. So if you have one in two offline lists, it can only have one highlight color.
45 minutes ago, diorex said:I would like to prioritize the ranking of highlights so that "RED" caches always highlight as red, even when they are on other lists as well.
This isn't a feature that we have planned as it would take major changes to how offline caches work.

Thanks for the suggestion, will add this to our list to consider!

on my phone stars are shown on our owned caches but on Mrs Jaki’s phone they are not. I have looked at and compared both settings and they seem the same.. any idea what’s happened to the star icon on Mrs Jaki’s phone.
Are you using the same user account? The star will only show on the CO's account.

I am not sure what you mean. Can you show me a screenshot?

I will see what I can do to reproduce it.

If the corrected coordinates and personal notes are coming into Cachly from a GPX file, they will only be local to the database. There is not currently a way to send all of those to geocaching.com without doing a manual update for each cache. We are looking at a way to batch process these in a future version.
-
Are you meaning that you deleted the app and then reinstalled it? Unfortunately this is a destructive route to take and there is no way to recover anything that was in the local database.
If you are having an issue with crashing please contact us as we can assist.

And this zoom level can be configured? Because different users willl probably have different ideas regarding the zoom level that should be the threshold between "preserve zoom level" and "zoom in".
No, there comes a point when too much user configuration just make an app confusing. Cachly needs to be a mix of intuitive and easy to use while being powerful.

THX in advance. This feature would be very interesting for me, because the watch functionality was my motivation to buy this app.
Have you tried restarting your watch?

Strange. I did some testing and I can't replicate it. Does this happen often, or only once?
