Happy to help!

That is great news!

This is not possible. Those are system apps and have different permissions. Don't close Cachly from the app selector, this is not necessary. When you leave an app (background it) iOS only keeps alive things that the app has requested. In this case, it is location services. In the friends section of Cachly, there is a search bar to search for username. Yeah, they don't provide a way to do this for third-party apps.

Yep. Your IPS blocked it. I use Backblaze which is a very popular B2 style file host similar to Amazon S3. Those sites could get flagged for spam occasionally.

1. Cachly does have this feature. If you turn on Proximity alert, you can leave Cachly and it will alert you for caches nearby. In the Live tab, it will not continue to load caches and that could exhaust your API limits during the day. Instead, I would save caches to an offline list, then turn on proximity alert for lists. 2. Adding friends IS possible in Cachly. Go to More > Friends and you will see your list of friends in Cachly. Also, going to a users profile and tapping the + on the top right will allow you to send a friend request. Third-part apps have limitations, please see: https://help.cachly.com/article/52-friends 3. Hiding your own caches it not possible on third-party apps. What do you mean by uploading your trackables? 4. This might come in a future version.

Can you access f000.backblazeb2.com? What about on a computer?
-
Are you still having this issue?
-
I cannot replicate. Where are you located?
-
Are you using a proxy server or VPN? If so, this can cause issues. Can you try again?
-
This is only available on CarPlay at the moment.
-
I did not change anything and would guess this is an iOS bug. Can you quit Cachly and see if it is still happening?

Saved locations / offline caches for personal POI
Nic Hubbard replied to barefootguru's question in Feature Requests
Saved locations are a very old feature and we will not be doing any updates to them. The solution here is to provide more custom pin types to be used for POI. We will see about adding this to a future version. -
Issues when "Display Zoom - Larger Text" is used for PQ Downloads
Nic Hubbard replied to Bunkshyde's topic in Support
This will be fixed in 8.2. In the meantime, you should be able to rotate your device to landscape real quick to see the + button? -
Thanks, will fix.
-
Yes, we test on both iPhone and iPad with a beta team of about 25 testers. Feel free to report bugs here or support@cach.ly. It does look like I can replicate this bug, so will get it fixed ASAP. Thanks!

Yes, still considered and the API now has this added so it could be used for live caches and sync with other apps.

You can view your hides in your profile in Cachly. Waypoint averaging has been suggested in the past, but not sure how much this is needed...
-
This might be coming in a future iOS update.

Log window panes are a weird size under mirroring
Nic Hubbard replied to barefootguru's topic in Support
Looking into this... -
Yes, that is the issue. I will fix that in a future bug fix.

I just tested and it worked for me. What GC is this for?

Incorrect date/time on draft logs posted from Cachly
Nic Hubbard replied to seffnjarah's topic in Support
I would suspect this has to do with timezone data. In the live caches Cachly gets the timezone from the API for all caches and it knows how to correctly convert the timestamp. If you import a GPX, there likely is no timezone data and Cachly just uses UTC. -
This is a feature, but only works for trip caches with full data. Will fix for next version.

Looks like you found the answer from someone on the FB page, but let me know if you still have questions.

Thanks for reporting. The watch app code has not been touched in some time, but I will look into this.
