Rinser
Cachly V8.0.7 Pro | iOS 18.0.1 | iPhone XR | Premium Thank you for publishing the new update. Greatest Software on iOS for geocaching ever! I stumbled into an issue. When I'm searching on an empty live map using the GC code, I'll get an empty map. I have to zoom out in a very huge amount to see the map with the found position.
Nic Hubbard
In testing I am not able to replicate this. Any other particular settings that you can see causing this? Does it happen on all caches that you search for?
Rinser
Hmm, that's really weird. Because I had that behavior several times. And now I can't reproduce it. If I find out in what situation that happens, I'll let you know. Thanks for your reply. Nic Hubbard
barefootguru
I think the trigger is when the newly found cache is the only pin on the map. i.e. hit X to clear the map, then do the search. And yes, it's an insane zoom, the scale ruler goes up to 4 m
Rinser
The ruler goes to 0 0 0 0. The update ist installed, but I can reproduce it after the update. Seems as if you search for a GC Code close to your own position.
Nic Hubbard
I still cannot replicate this...
Rinser
I can reproduce it every time I search for a single GC code, when the live map is completely empty (no geocaches marked). And it's independent from the chosen map. I think the smallest possible zoom factor is chosen. iPhone XR + iPhone 16 pro do exactly the same.
