write note template bug

When logging a cache and I use NDF (Did Not Find), Found It, or another log type, a predefined template for the next log is automatically inserted. However, if I select WN (Write Note), the last used template remains. Usually, this is the template for a find. But if I change the log to Did Not Find and then change to WN, the Did Not Find template remains, and the WN template is not used at all. Given the number of challenge caches where WN is commonly used, this is quite a significant issue.

Once a template is inserted, changing the log type will not change the log text, whether it was just the previous template or the template + any additional text you might have typed.

You can highlight the templated text and delete it and then from the same data entry screen, tap to bring up the context menu, scroll to the right and select Insert Text Template and select one of your templates to insert.

You can also turn off setting the default log type as well as inserting any text automatically and use the above method to insert a specific template based on your situation.

I think there might be some misunderstanding. I have predefined logs (templates) for DNF (Did Not Find), NM (Needs Maintenance), Found It, and also for WN (Write Note). When I change the log type, the template type automatically changes accordingly. However, if I select WN, the template corresponding to the last log type before the change remains.

I am not able to replicate this. Is it still happening?
