Malaysia - contours and hillshades?

Thanks for letting me know. I'm sure that Malaysia isn't the top destination for geocachers, but it would really help with planning trips. It's our home for the next two+ years, and I can tell you that this place is very hilly, something that's hard to anticipate because of the 'flat' maps. I've gotten used to cross-checking with a different map app, but I have to admit that having contours on the OSM offline map is something irreplaceable and priceless!

I do understand that you're busy and things take time, just keeping my fingers crossed on this one!

Hi Nic, while I'm still waiting for Malaysian contour lines, I just now noticed that the map of some European countries, which I've forever had downloaded as I purchased maps some time ago and have not deleted them, have disappeared. Specifically, I'm not seeing any contour lines in the Czech Republic, where I know they were there. Same goes for Spain, which I recently downloaded. Is this a bug on my side?

My maps are still showing as offline whole-country maps with Extras downloaded.

I've tried redownloading and the issue pertains.

Did you change the map settings in Cachly to hide hill-shades and contours?

I always have them turned on. I woke up today, checked again, and they were back. Nearly feel like I was hallucinating. But they're back now! Solved (at least for Czech Republic and Spain, still not for Malaysia/Singapore/Brunei)
