Glad to help!

Cachly has this feature. In Settings just turn on "Cache Radius". Is this what you were meaning?

the famous file is here, thanks for your help
That link isn't working for me. You can send it directly to support@cach.ly. Thanks.

Do you have an example GPX file with only one or two caches as well as some information about what the error is saying?
-
Because of geocaching.com privacy policies both you AND your friends must agree to sharing friend data with third-party apps. Once a friend does this you will be able to see them.
-
Thanks, this is a great suggestion!

This will be fixed in Cachly 6.1.2.

I also noticed that I could copy all my existing photos (in matching GCxxxxx folders) from DropBox to iCloud drive and they are available in Cachly - great.
Yes! This makes it quick and easy for power users to move images into Cachly.

This is one I had considered as well. Thanks!

Here is a bit more information about 6.1 as we haven't had a chance to update the wiki: https://medium.com/@cachly/cachly-6-1-features-and-release-37be309d9f68

Proximity alert is a new button that shows up on the navigate to cache screen as well as on offline lists. You can tap it to see all the options and turn it on, or you can long press the button to quickly turn it on.

These are saved in iCloud drive and will be synced to your other devices and are accessible on those devices and on your computer by viewing them in iCloud Drive and viewing the Cachly folder. They are not saved on geocaching.com.
Let me know if you have any additional questions!

I log a cache and just save the entry (no sending to geocaching.com). Then I export the find to a text file.
It ends up like this:
GC8AV78,2020-09-21T09:46Z,Found it,"(null)"It should look like this:
GC8AV78,2020-09-21T09:46Z,Found it," "Have you tested on Cachly 6.1? This should have been fixed in our recent update.

I am not 100% sure what you are meaning, can you post a screenshot?

Cachly 6.1 is now available for download!

This was a watchOS 7 issue that has been fixed in our 6.1 release. Check the App Store and you should see the update which will fix the issue.
-
Just curious, how are you getting new cache notifications by text? I have never seen this option on geocaching.com.
-
Yes, the line will stay locked on your current location and the target cache. Sounds like there was a glitch. Can you replicate this?
-
I haven't ever seen those available as text message, are you meaning the emails? If so, you can copy the link and paste that into the Cachly search bar on the live tab.
-
Looks like you just need to refresh your lists. When on the Online lists tab, just pull down on the list and it will load new data. Let me know if this helps.

It did dawn on me why the iPad wouldn't switch orientations while I was setting there fooling with it, it doesn't have a "real" compass, so won't change until you move a bit and it interpolates it...
Ah, yes. I am surprised that it works at all. It must be using the GPS course data.
-
Let me know if you can replicate #3, I am not able to.
Also, for question #1, have you tested this again? Many users use this feature.

Is there a way to use the watch as stand alone?
Yes, the watch app uses GPS/Location services from your watch, it it has GPS. Is yours at least a Series 3 watch?
2 hours ago, Jello Jeep said:Using Ipad in car noticed "course up" function changes every time I manually reorient the map, or go back to the description or compass. I ALWAYS want to use it in course up. Is there a way to lock that on ? I must hit that little button a hundred times a day if I am out LOL.. Frustrating...
There isn't a way to lock this mode, but it has been a requested feature. What map are you using? Going to the compass or descriptions should not take you out of this mode.
2 hours ago, Jello Jeep said:Seems as if when the maps app is open, the course up function fails in cachly.. Seems as if closing the maps app (running in background) fixed the issue... Just letting you know..
I wasn't able to replicate this. Let me know what map type you are using so I can try and replicate that on my devices.
Premium Offline Map Issue

Hmm, did this happen after a Cachly update?
There were a few fixes to the premium offline maps framework but that should not affect offline maps.
if you go to Usage, does it show you have data for offline maps?
