You are correct about this. I will get this added to our feature list. Thanks!
-
Cachly doesn't have the ability to save custom text as keywords, but in Settings you can add a Log Text Default which can include keywords.
Is this what you were looking for?
-
This feature hasn't been added yet, but will be part of our 2.0 update. Stay tuned!
-
Glad you are liking it! Will answer any questions that you have and seriously consider all feature requests!
-
I agree. Will get this fixed. Thanks!

Great find. Thanks!

This is something that we have on our list to do, but not sure when will will get it added. Hopefully after our 2.0 version is released we will be able to work on this.

Thanks. Will get this added to our feature list.

Yes, this is a known issue that will be fixed in our upcoming 2.0 release. Sorry about that!
-
I should have updated this before, but this has been fixed in our most current beta and will be in our 2.0 public release.

Steve, can you give me a bit more information about the crashing?
- What screen did it crash on?
- How long did it take to crash
- Could you reproduce it every time
Thanks!

Hi, I downloaded the app yesterday and was testing it out. So far so good! I was reading through some of the reported issues (in particular the *|find_count|* being off by 1) that will be fixed in v2.0. Is there any estimate for this release?
I can't say for sure when it will be released, as that has not been finalized. We are just working to make sure it is our best release yet.

Moving around the map and refreshing is quite simple (in a future version we will have a live map). You can also tap the gear icon in the search bar to bring up search options to greatly refine your search. You can also search for locations by address, GC code, coords, etc.
Lists are a way to group/save caches. In our upcoming 2.0 version you will be able to refresh an entire list.
Hope this helps.
-
Loading all caches isn't possible as the API we use from geocaching.com only loads 50 at a time. You can then save those caches to an offline list if you want to save them.
-
After you load the first 50 caches, do you see three dots inside of the refresh arrow? It should be allowing you to load more and more caches in your area. Can you try moving the map elsewhere and refreshing?

What do you mean? Is this a list that you created in Cachly or geocaching.com?

I do read some posts on the forum about the (upcoming) version 2. Is there any more information about this version? Will it be a free update? Is there a roadmap with new functions? Is it possible to beta test it?
Maybe I can be of assistance I translating the app into Dutch?
Yes, version 2.0 is upcoming and it packed with new features including offline open street vector maps. We will be doing a blog post soon that outlines all of the upcoming 2.0 features.
If you are interested in beta testing or helping with translation, just contact us through the support option in Cachly.
The update will be free.

We have this on our list to add, but so far it doesn't seem that Tom Tom has a way for us to integrate with their app. There isn't currently a way to send it coordinates.

Follow up feedback/question on the PQ interface: I mentally stumble each time I got into my PQ list. I know by now that the only action is tap and it downloads the PQ, but it keeps "surprising" me. It does not help that tapping second time created downloads another copy (although it makes sense - you cannot be sure it's the same PQ). It also does not help that now the process of download is by necessity longer. Unfortunately, I do not have a suggestion on how to make it better...
I agree. I am going to be rebuilding the PQ section to integrate it into Lists.
5 hours ago, buti-oxa said:I also do not understand yet the connection between lists and PQs. I did not have any lists yesterday. Today, I have one. It corresponds to a offline PQ I left on the device overnight. Do offline PQs become lists after a while? On an action I did not notice I take? Is it correct that cachly list, geocaching.com list (first item in Your Profile / Quick View) and list in Map/List choice have nothing to do with each other?
There shouldn't be a connection. In the next beta PQs will download directly into Lists, and you will be able to save the PQs into an already created list.

Can I assume you meant logging two Pending Logs?

Good find! Will get this added to our bug list.

It worked today when I posted a Found followed by Needs Maintenance using the beta app.
Glad it worked! Thanks to Groundspeak for fixing this issue!

Sorry. So many support emails and beta testers can get me confused.
Navigating while offline

This happens because when navigating to the cache, the map is zoomed in too far and there are not tiles available for that zoom level. Zoom about a bit to load those tiles. In our 2.0 version this will no longer be an issue.
This shouldn't happen, and I am not able to reproduce. Are you saying that Cachly opens back up to the same offline list as before and then shows the message? Or, after a while iOS has killed Cachly, and you have to reopen it (showing the startup splash screen) and then it shows the error?
