Nobby Y 9 Report post Posted August 21, 2017 In Japanese version, caption of photos, “Log photo uploaded using Cachly”, got garbled as shown in attached. It seems that Cachly can’t handle two bytes characters, like Japanese or Chinese, properly in uploading photos. In order to avoid this problem, it would be better not to translate the caption into Japanese or to leave caption blank. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Cachly is already handling these since it is showing them in the preview. I have a feeling that sending these to the geocaching.com API is the issue. I will do some testing and report it to HQ.
