jollyquest
I have noticed this issue before but today was the worst I have seen. This morning my iPhone was at 1% battery. Cachly had been running in the background for 17 hours. I know what the problem is. When you have the compass or map on and navigating towards a selected geocache Cachly is using Location Services to update your position. Could you avoid this problem by disabling Location Services if no user activity is detected after (say) 30 minutes. Or just pop up a warning after 30 minutes to say that tracking has been suspended. Otherwise, Cachly is a great product.
Nic Hubbard
Cachly does not use background location services unless you use the proximity alert feature. Did you turn that on and forget about it?
jollyquest
I think that's the explanation, thanks. I was messing about with its settings and didn't turn it off after returning from holiday.
