Raiden38 reacted to Maattmoo in Cachly on Apple CarPlay
Hello,
just wondering if there would be any possibility for cachly or navigation to a cache to be able to be connected to the Apple CarPlay
I asked on Facebook page also and a couple of others like the thought of it too.
Would it be at all possible?
Thanks in advance for your time and considerations
regards
Maattmoo

You are meaning, if the last x logs were a DNF then alter the cache icon? Yeah, this is possible.

I could see a benefit in adding the ability to ignore via settings if a cache's most recent X caches are DNFs. I hate getting to a cache only to find that it's not been found the last 5 times.

Hi
could you please include a function that gives an audible signal when we are less than 25 meters away from cache coordinates.

I would love to see auto-zoom on the navigation map. It would be nice if as you neared the cache it would automatically adjust the distance.

Appreciate your suggestions. It for sure is on the list to consider.

The TBScan app can OCR trackables, verify validity of scanned code and more. OCR is a hard problem. I've beta tested TBScan and watch it improve but it is a complex thing and you'll never get it fully accurate. I'm ok with a separate app devoted to that.

QR Code reading is easy and will be in the next release (4.0.1). OCR text conversion isn't as easy so I will explore this for a future release.

Unless it's something else that I don't understand... I saw one in a cache and thought that it's a great idea!

Possibly in the future.
I am not sure I would consider this a bug or not. If text is inserted by a log type template then it "sticks". If you change to a log type without a template, it will stay there.
No. There isn't a way to do this.
