  1. Thank you for your responses. In the future I will pull the query results into Cachly before weeding out the geocaches I don't want. That will prevent a recurrence of my current issue.
  2. I ran the pocket query, then reviewed the results and determined a subset of those geocaches, then selected "Download Waypoints" and the resultant file was a .loc. It only became a .GPX after I opened it in EasyGPS. Is there a way to make the geocaching.com file default to .GPX?
  3. So... When I make a GPX file on Geocaching.com by selecting specific desirable geocaches out of a pocket query/route and then pressing the "Download Waypoints" button it doesn't include all the data Cachly requires, or does it get stripped-out when I next open it in EasyGPS?
  4. This is the procedure I used today: 1) cachly / importGPX / other 2) Files (iPhone) / select file 3) Import GPX (Cachly) / choose offline list / "test" / import 4) "test" showed 0 caches, but I opened I selected it anyway and nothing was there; the map was empty I also tried this: 1) opened email with attachment and selected the attached file 2) chose "test" when prompted to "Choose Offline List" in Cachly on "Import GPX" 3) selected "import" 4) result was a blank map. Going back to the offline "test" list, it showed zero caches. File being sent to support@cach.ly as requested.
  5. I opened the file from the email in EasyGPS without any problems.
  6. I followed the online instructions for importing a GPX file from an email, but afterwards the data does not show up in the offline list it was directed to. Any suggestions what I might do to remedy this? phone is an iPhone 15 Pro running iOS 17.5.1 running Cachly 8.0.3 (2)
  7. Okay, thanks; now I know. I had wanted to load both so I could view caches on the local map and those for where I would soon visit without having to load and unload maps. It's something I can easily work around, just thought there was an issue to be investigated. Having used the "edit" feature to download multiple adjacent European countries prior to several trips abroad, it didn't occur to me that non-adjacent maps would be an issue.
  8. Sorry for the late response... My geocache GC9AYWG is an example of the problem I encountered. It is the same formatting issue as shown by barefootguru in his comment.
  9. Along a similar vein.... I used to be able to toggle between text & HTML for displaying the hint, but I can no longer find where that opiton resides in 8.0. Example: "Look low [br] fake bolt" ; would like to see "look low" and "fake bolt" on separate lines (as they show on Geocaching app.)
  10. Washington state map (downloaded before “pro”) shows missing land mass near GC8A3ZA after adding “pro” Hawaii map. Removing the Hawaii map caused the Washington map to display correctly. Note: I did use the edit feature to ensure both maps were available simultaneously.
  11. That works great! Thanks for the prompt response on Christmas day.
  12. Can an offline list be converted to an online list? I see how to go the other way around, or move data from one offline list to another, but can't see how to move or merge an offline list into a online list (it's grayed out). Thanks
  13. Thanks for all your quick support; unbelievably fast and greatly appreciated! Although something I've never done with GSAK (only used for challenge cache verificatin prior to this), I made a small GPX file there and was able to successfully import it. Since the individual geocaches have no common denomenator among them, I can't make a PQ to pull them. I'll see if it's possible to make a list on the geocaching site, import that to GSAK, then export to GPX and import into cachly. If the list option doesn't work, then I'll have to import each individual cache to GSAK as I did for the test file. Same result, only slower.
  14. I tried "save as" and there are no options other than GPX. I've used this program for over 10 years to download waypoints into my Garmin GPSr, but if it won't work with your app perhaps I need to search for another equally easy and intuitive program to develop GPX files. I ran 2 more PQ's and was able to download both of them. The one I originally attempted to load was the "my finds" query, just as a test. Perhaps that query can't be read/downloaded for some reason?
