Hi, would be possible to implement in Cachly, that pictures taken via Cachly app would save as well GPS coordinates of place wher pix was taken? Now I need to take picture via Camera app and than paste it in Personal notice. It takes much longer than to take photos from Cachly - Personal notice directly. I understand, that in Logs are the GPS not desirable, but It would be nice, to save GPS for personal notes photos.

I can mark it as SOLVED. I reall don't have any clue, how's it possible, but the original Cachly folder with 2 subfolders Photos and Photos 2 was really deleted. Even though I manually created a Cachly folder and a Photos subfolder, adding a photo to a private note didn't work. Only when I restored the completely mysteriously deleted original folder created by the app and all the files in it in iCloud, adding a photo works again. I'm not a lame when it comes to iCloud and the whole Apple ecosystem as well as the digital world and life, but I really can't explain this in any way. Simply "X-Files." Conclusion: a) problem solved b) thank you for your efforts and willingness to help.

No, I don't see such a folder there, although it was there before. I don't know what happened, but I didn't delete it at 10000000%.

No. In this fall, I did't change anything. I was usin Cachly a maybe one month ago on Grand Canaria and everything was fine. Yesterday I wanna to save a pic to personal note (as usually) to a cache I was actually searching and than..... this error. Should I try to delete iCloud backup of Cachly and turn it on again?

Hi, I have a problem with Cachly lately. I'm becoming following error message: (see picture) I was trying to add picture to personal note. Premium user of Geocaching.com Cachly v. 7.1.3 on iPhone 15 Pro Max iOS v iOS 17.4 (21E217) - public beta 4 I can find any cause or a way to fix it. (iPhone setting and so on...) What can I do? Any Ideas?

Ideally, the ability to choose what to back up / sync: all settings offline lists templates filtering templates .... but mainly I'm concerned about the overall backup and synchronization between devices. For example, yesterday I had to uninstall Cachly, I downloaded Offline Lists as a backup, but I forgot about Cachly.sqlite and apart from Offline Lists, I had to set up everything from scratch, even though I have everything on my iPad, which now had a family member with and is about 600 km away from me for about 2-3 weeks, so I re-created all the templates from scratch based on the old logs for the caches that I found in the past. And also the alert settings for approaching a cache.... Actually, both backing up to iCloud and syncing would be best. The fact, as i've red here on forum, that some users don't want synch between devides and so on, it I think is no reason to deprive others of that option. Simply give the choice: Do you want or don't want backup/sync. (as a togle) I don't understand why should we do it again and again manually. I appreciate your work and the app itself is just a dream come true for me as a geocachers. The official app may just be embarrassed because it should look like Cachly, but this really, really bothers me. I'll gladly pay extra for it, even though I bought the app and the premium maps as well.

Do you plat to add DeepL translator to the possibilities to translate texts in app in addition to the option to translate via Google Translator? In my experience, DeepL is a better and more accurate translator, and its translations are more precise and meaningful.

Hi, do you plan to make possible to backup Cachly (app setting, filters templates, log templates etc.) to backup to iCloud? (alternatively, if other users don't want it, the option to enable/disable the function via a toggle switch) I mean, when I change my phone / tablet or I need to delete the app and then install again, all settings will be automatically downloaded from the iCloud backup and the app will be set up as before. I've been missing this for a long time and have to copy all text templates, filter templates, etc. between devices. For example the offline lists I downloaded and backed up according to the help page (but those are more or less irrelevant to me), but the templates and other settings I still have to do over again.... It's really annoying.
