  1. This is something that I have wanted for a bit. I’ve grown somewhat accustomed now to switching between map & compass view, but so would love having a translucent version of the compass available in map view (or some other navigational directional & distance indicator) so I could just stay in map view entirely. In fact this was the one & only thing that slowed me down from adopting Cachly as my main caching app for a long period of time, as L4C has a great version of this & it was hard to let go of that function.
  2. I’ve been finding the Cachly Apple Watch app very handy recently for kayak caching. Handy to see distance to next cache by simply turning my wrist instead of reaching for my phone while paddling. I just picked up an Apple Watch 4 & realized with the extra screen space there is a bunch more info Cachly could possibly show. It would be super nice to have a distance & maybe even small compass or general direction to next cache complication. Would be killer for kayak caching and come to think of it sorta was what I was looking for with regards to power trail caching. Even if that isn’t possible at the very least it would be nice if the Cachly watch complication was able to be used in more of the faces. Keep having to use a very specific face just so it’s available to use via the main face. It’s kinda funny how what at first I thought was just a cool gimmicky thing to use every once in awhile has become a real time saver that has a bunch of potential.
  3. Force touch would be great way to handle it! I didn’t even think of that. Agree that would be perfect way to not clutter it up yet still have that functionality.
  4. Ran across an interesting issue while doing a driving based Geo-art power trail the other day which I think becomes a feature request. Sorry it's so long but it was hard to explain shorter. Was using Cachly as the main map while driving from cache to cache while the map was displayed. While guessing distance to the next cache was possible by looking at the proximity on map from where we were to the cache, It sure lacked some more useful info to have that would be nice like distance & bearing, things you would see if you clicked on the cache then hit navigate to cache. Then there was the extra step of hitting the cache name then hitting log this cache or if I was using it in navigate to cache mode because I wanted the distance/bearing to it displayed, hitting the back arrow then log this cache. While definitely doable, I felt there must be a better way to do this without so many extra page changes or extra clicks. So I went through all my caching apps to see if one had a way to make things more streamlined. Most were much worse, but did notice L4C had something that would be incredibly useful to have something similar in Cachly in this situation since it is my main caching app. While still involving the same two clicks it had zero page changes. So you are always on the map page. You click on the cache while in map mode and a popup appears allowing you to now navigate/select as target, so you have that useful distance & direction info all without leaving map view page. The same popup also allows you to log the cache. While this may not seem worlds different, when you are on a power trail this is much quicker & less jarring visually even though it still takes the same amount of clicks. It keeps the drivers eyes on the road & not their phone trying to go through different views. So boiling it down to an actual request, when Cachly is in the map display and you click on a geocache to get that popup display for the info, a spot in the popup display to navigate to the cache & log the cache without having to switch views/pages, would be fantastic.

    Purge Logs

Great! I’d say either would be a much welcome addition & save me a bunch of time! I honestly keep as few logs as possible & just refresh if I need some, but can see usefulness of keeping the latest 5 or a date selector for logs within last month etc... Really unless someone else chimes in, I’d go with what you think would be most useful to fellow users.

    Purge Logs

One thing I find helpful since I have a bunch of offline lists in Cachly, is keeping the amount of logs down in each to a minimum. Seems to help performance wise plus keeps the file size down a bunch, probably related I’d assume. Find myself exporting then reimporting a gpx file from Cachly to GSAK back to Cachly to achieve this task & would love to keep it all within Cachly. An option like purge logs greater then recent # or by date would be great, but even just purge all logs would be perfect! Rarely need a log but even when I do, recent few are almost always sufficient.
