  1. This feature is not only available in Google Maps. It works the same way in Maps.me (OSM) and CityMaps2Go (another OSM map / mapbox.com).
  2. Hi Nic Yes, I can reproduce it everytime. As soon as I zoom in to the max (see scale in first pic) AND my position is NOT centered (outlined arrow). These two requirements must be fulfilled otherwise it works correctly. -- Dave
  3. No matter what map I use (online or offline, Google or OSM, ...), it seems to me that Cachly is slower than other apps when drawing the map tiles. Specially the offline maps are slower than the online version!! - Cachly 3.0.2 - iPhone 6 / iOS 9.3.3
  4. Apps like Geosphere, MapsMe and others have a very handy feature to zoom the map with only one finger. When you tap twice on the map then hold the finger pressed and slide it up or down, the map zooms in or out. Would be a great feature for Cachly!
  5. There is an anoying zoom problem when tapping on the direction arrow in the right lower corner: When I am near the cache and I got no other orientation (e.g. in the woods) I like to change the mode to show the walking direction. Usually in this situation the zoom level is set to a high number (as I am close to the cache). As soon as I tap the arrow button the map zooms out! This happens only if the zoom is set to a specific (high) level before. Here is a screenshot of the zoom level before tapping the direction arrow: And here after tapping the button for the first time (center mode)... This behavior makes it very difficult because you have to zoom in again and maybe you loose the direction mode again. Other information: - iPhone 6 / iOS 9.3.3 - Cachly 2.x or 3.0.2 - doesn't matter which map is active - doesn't matter if a cache is selected or not
  6. That doesn't work with Cachly. At least not the fontsize. Some text are still the same fix (kind of hard coded).
  7. Maybe it's more a question than a "feature request"... Not always but often I need glasses to use my iPhone. A few days ago when I was in the field, I realized that the readability of the Cachly interface is not optimal. Small gray text on a gray background is a killer. Why not making the important text black? Why not making it a little more bolder? Why not making the font size bigger when there is a lot of empty room (e.g. coordinates/distance)? I know Cachly has a nice look but compared with other apps not a good readability.
  8. Hello Nic Geosphere is very more flexible with log templates. There are not only placeholders but also multiple templates! I have three templates only for FTF logs: One when I found it alone, one when I am on the field with my cache buddy and another when I made a FTF with other people. This is very useful! -- Attila
