I went back and looked at some of my logs that I submitted a few days ago using Cachly and they all have coordinates attached to them. I don't know how this happened because I never selected to have coordinates attached. Is this even an option in Cachly to attach coordinates to a log?
Apologies if this has been raised elsewhere - I have had a look, but cannot see a similar mention - but what are cachers' thoughts on a feature to capture/input a coordinate formula - typically found with multi caches - when the ability to enter the values of the variables found at the one or more WPs and have the app calculate the final coordinates? Currently this feature is my big draw to the GCBuddy app.
Caches within pocket queries which contain corrected coordinates (for example, puzzles which have been solved), contain the corrected coordinates. Often a CO will state that the posted coordinates for a puzzle cache are not the cache coordinates but might be a good place to park or show where a trail head is. When the corrected coordinates are downloaded with the pocket query, are the originally posted coordinates also downloaded as a waypoint somewhere? It appears as if there is a waypoint which in the cases I've checked, contains the same corrected coordinates. It would be great if the original coordinates were preserved as another waypoint in the cache data.
