App icon badge count options?

I really like the badge count feature for the app icon in Cachly 3.0, it really helps keeping track of my day's finds. In those sad instances when I have one or many DNFs, I have to remember the number of DNFs and notes and mentally subtract it from the badge count. Might there be a way to add options for what increases the badge count, or make it so the badge count only displays pending finds, not DNFs or notes? I think most cachers are far more interested in tracking the number of finds for the day, not the number of total cache attempts and notes.

I would like to get more input on this. Anyone else have feedback on this idea?

My preference would be leave what is there today in the number shown in the bottom icon. Maybe if you go into Settings / Pending Geocache Logs, there's a count at the top of Found, Not Found, Note, NA, NM, etc.

One of the reasons I would advocate to not change it is that it was worked the same way since Cachly 1.0. Changing it might confuse a lot of our current users.

Leave as is for me too.

That being said I do sometimes open the list and count how many DNFs so I know how many we have found  so far

I like the current badge as it's a reminder there's things to do — finish & send logs. This use of a badge is also standard iOS behaviour.

I would sometimes use a daily found count inside the app which showed submitted + pending for the day.
