aheppis
Hi Nic, I’m struggling quite often with switching between the listing and the map. I have a map with several caches on it. Then you can select a cache and open the listing. But if you want to navigate to the cache you have to push the little button in the corner right at the bottom. So far so good. But if you want to read the listing or look for a hint you have to go back to the listing and then back again to the map. So maybe there could be three buttons on top when you open a listing: listing (maybe the GC code), map and compass. So you can switch between this three pages and all the settings or open pages stay there. I think this would make it much more overseeable and not that confusing. For that you could place the navigate to button (Google Maps, …) on the map like the Street View button. Then it would be all together. And one other thing is confusing me. When the map for the navigation is open you can choose another cache and watch the listing and also navigate to this cache. You can do this many times and you are getting deeper and deeper and in the end you don’t really know where you are. That’s not that bad in general but you don’t get back to the initial page that easy. For that you have to press the back button (top left) many times. Would be easier if you get back to the initial page every time when you hit the back button in a listing. Hope that’s understandable :-D Greets, Alex. Nic Hubbard
I would need to think about this. At this time, I have other priorities and this would be a big change.
