45701019
Hi there, I've recently been advised to use Cachly as I refuse to pay the subscription fee for all the caches I used to be able to access on the soon to be retired classic geocaching app. I don't seem to be able to see all those caches on here either. Am I doing something wrong? thanks a lot,
Nic Hubbard
Cachly is a third-part geocaching.com app and is therefore also bound by the terms and restrictions of the API that geocaching.com provides. This sadly means that they limit what Regular users see, e.g. only Traditional caches, limited searching, etc. To be clear, this is NOT a limitation of Cachly, but a limitation of the geocahing.com API for Regular users. ** Note: The Classic app used a modified API that we don't have access to. I wish there was a way to provide a better experience for Regular users.

barefootguru
Just look at the subscription as paying Groundspeak to host the cache database, and ignore their atrocious app and questionable website design raritan
The_C4
Also as dumb as it may sound, doublecheck the search filters! Just came from a series trail and while logging the stuff online was (un)pleasantly surprised to see that some of the caches were missed because I accidentally deselected "small" when fidgeting with filter settings. The gear icon should turn green if you have any search filters turned on. Was this the case?
