I will add this feature hopefully in the next beta.

I personally like seeing the waypoints even if I pick one. Even after using Cachly for a couple of years I'm not sure I knew that you could choose one from the map.

Went with text and no mailto link for now.

Done. Feel free to update if you don't like the way I presented it.

Good idea. I will address this in the next release.

This is not strictly filtering but I'm looking for a clever way to clean up part of an aggregated offline list. The list was formed by copying several lists to a single one. I copied Year 2001 hides, webcams, and Cache Across America all focused on West Virginia. Then looking at the map it became clear that the large cluster of caches at the East side of the state were not in range for this driving trip. That left 3 on the west side of the state. What I would love to be able to do is just put those in the Map Bounds and "Delete Visible Caches". Alas, there is no such function. My solution was to manually add those three to another list, then filter on West Virginia and Delete Filtered Caches and finally copy those three back to the aggregated list.
Any other clever way to do this? Maybe highlight those three, filter on West Virginia plus not highlighted and then delete filtered caches. That might have been one step shorter.
This is a subtle way to ask for some actions on the current visible caches in offline. Handy ones would be: Delete Visible, highlight visible, remove highlight of visible.

I love the logs tab for exactly this reason, and I also use it with regularity. It's unfortunate that the API doesn't allow retrieving more information here as it's usefulness is a bit hobbled by those limitations. I know GCHQ has been open to small changes lately. @Nic Hubbard, any chance you can ask them about adding this? I figure it can't hurt to ask.
Understanding that not everyone feels the same way, I'm wondering if the tabs could be user defined from a pre-defined list larger than the current four? I've seen other apps that allow reordering and pulling options to the front that are otherwise hidden behind More. Don't care about trackables? Hide that option away, but put Bookmarks or Pocket Queries in its place, etc. That would be a nice feature for power users who really like to customize their experience.

    This is painfully slow.
I am rewriting the entire interface and background downloading for updating caches. This will be in the next beta.
I tested updating 1,000 full caches and got the following:
    Basic Update: 3.8 seconds
    Full Update: 39.8 seconds
It has been a while since I revisited the old code that is currently downloading/updating caches so it was time for a rewrite.

@barefootguru I understand how the My Finds PQ works. My question was about whether updating all caches in that offline list would update the logs in such a way that my own would no longer be there if there were many logs posted after mine.
I had time to test it out tonight, and here's what I found in case anyone else is curious. I loading the My Finds GPX into an offline list. After that initial import, none of the caches had cache notes, but they did have just my log as expected. Updating all caches using basic data was enough to pull down cache notes, last found date, add the red heart on favorited caches, add the corrected coord indicator (even though the coords were already corrected), and maybe a few other minor things. My logs were still visible. Updating all caches using full data pulled the most recent logs but still kept mine even if it was significantly older than the new ones being added. So this does seem like a good compromise to keep a record of both your own public logs and your cache notes.

While on the subject, a way to get saved location and Waypoint Coords in multiple formats would be helpful from time to time.

Currently, tapping the Coordinate on the cache page switches it from Degree-Decimal minutes (DM), to Decimal Degrees (DD). From time to time, I need the value in Degree-Minute-Seconds (DMS) format. How about making the rotation include the 3rd common format? In each case, long press copies the coordinates in the displayed form.

I would think a simple insert feature would work here. Such as an option to insert the current date, your username, etc etc. Keywords wouldn't work since they would need to be replaced before synching with geocaching.com.

Saying "seen with" does seem to imply that the cacher had the trackable in their possession. Using "seen by" would help a bit, but I agree with rragan that "discovered by" is better since it matches the term used for that trackable log type.
