ChrisDen reacted to Nic Hubbard in FTF bug?
Hmm, I think at some point there needs to be some of those status' overriding others, rather than showing all otherwise it will just get crazy.

ChrisDen reacted to rragan in Will Attend Log color
The solid black seems a bit funereal for a happy Will Attend note. Got any happier colors?

ChrisDen got a reaction from Nic Hubbard in Insert CO Name
Phew. That was quick. Issue resolved. I have done a few tests and all worked as expected.

ChrisDen got a reaction from Nic Hubbard in Insert CO Name
The latter. Sorry. Wrong topic.
It's been one of those days

ChrisDen reacted to hidegoseek in How do I close the keyboard once opened?
I use the SwiftKey keyboard and it has the "down keyboard" button.

ChrisDen reacted to Nic Hubbard in Settings
I really don't want to make yet another section in the More tab for items like this though.

ChrisDen got a reaction from Bolling in Update visible caches only
Already used it a number of times. Works like a dream.
Thanks Nic

ChrisDen got a reaction from MrGigabyte in Update visible caches only
Sometimes I want to update a few caches in the area we are caching. You can either do them individually are the whole offline list.
It would be great if I could update only those visible on the map.

ChrisDen got a reaction from Btwchen in Cachly 2.1 unified database
If you are online at the time your note will be saved to the geocaching website immediately. If not online it will be saved next time you have Internet access

ChrisDen reacted to Bolling in MYSTERY - CHECKER - FEATURE REQUEST
How can Cachly be a mystery checker?

ChrisDen reacted to Nic Hubbard in Offline maps
Map generation is done manually by me as it is a long process (4 days) for all the maps that we have. Maps were just generated about 2 weeks ago, except France which was just too large and was crashing my server.
I hope to do updates about once a month.

ChrisDen got a reaction from Michael in Offline maps
Second question. Is the map generated when you download or is it done by you in the background?
The reason for my question is the currency of the map. If changes are made in Open street when will they appear in Cachly? I am trying to work out how often and when I should manually refresh the offline maps

ChrisDen reacted to Bolling in Best workflow for 5,000 offline caches
Ok Nic said it should be the "Date Downloaded" filter.
So, import PQs to update caches. Filter on Date Downloaded and set prior to date of PQ import. Then either delete the caches in the filter or update them to confirm they are archived and then filter on archived caches to delete.

ChrisDen got a reaction from barefootguru in Best workflow for 5,000 offline caches
I do something similar to what you are suggesting. Combine the PQs. The problem I have with that method is how to identify archived caches so they can be deleted. Takes to long to run an update.

ChrisDen reacted to Bolling in Best workflow for 5,000 offline caches
Once you import new pocket queries you should be able to delete archived caches with a Date Last Updated filter. This is what I do in GSAK. The filter doesn't appear to risk properly in the latest beta. I've reported that issue here:

ChrisDen reacted to Nic Hubbard in Cache Note Template
I would think a simple insert feature would work here. Such as an option to insert the current date, your username, etc etc. Keywords wouldn't work since they would need to be replaced before synching with geocaching.com.

ChrisDen reacted to Kyzabra in Offline List Date
Just a tweak rather than a feature. Could we see the last updated date under each offline list, rather than the created date. Im not sure about others, but I use that date to know when I last updated my database, and if I have forgotten to import my latest PQs.

ChrisDen reacted to Nic Hubbard in Speeding up Deletion of Offline Sets
This will be fixed in 3.1.
No, but this won't be an issue in 3.1 due to the massive speed increases.

ChrisDen got a reaction from Nic Hubbard in Update after logging
What I mean is if I log the cache from an offline list, not as a draft but a Found log or DNF, etc then immediately after that Cachly refreshes the cache concerned so that my log is now added to the offline list.

ChrisDen got a reaction from Nic Hubbard in Filtering problem: Still showing radius circles
I can. Just changing from displaying all caches to not found gives the same issue. The circle without the cache is a Found cache now filtered out.
Exiting and coming back in eliminated the empty circles.
