  1. I do understand your approach. I'll admit I use Spark for personal email and the Swipes are customized there so mine aren't standard. I did look at the standard mail app swipe. One difference I notice is that in the mail app all three functions unfold simultaneously making them all noticeable without a full swipe. I did of course find the functionality after a while, but after seeing this post it reminded me of my struggle too.
  2. Nic, It took me a while to find the Options feature the other day. I knew offline databases could be merged so I kept looking. It's not totally intuitive right now. One option might be to swap the positions of the Options and Delete boxes.
  3. If you are referring to the find count on the geocaching.com website I've seen it lag behind several times in the past.
  4. I guess I should have opened the app before I took the liberty of answering. If you have more than one offline list the green dot shows the last one selected. There's got to be more to it than that, now I give in too.....
  5. What's also really amazing is the level of customer support Nic gives to Cachly. It's just great to see how he responds so quickly and then sometimes goes a step beyond. One example is when a new user was confused about setting up an account. Nic responded quickly with info about signing up at geocaching.com, but then he went a step further and made a pinned topic about it. (I did do a cache run this weekend and didn't open my old standby app, Geosphere. Cachly performed the job flawlessly).
  6. The number in the green dot shows the number of caches in the offline list. (I think there's a bug in 2.0 that makes the number incorrect if you merge two lists though. Nic is already aware of this one though).
  7. That's two bugs found this week. I'm on a roll. Just picking, Cachly is great.
  8. That's great to hear. I think that would be my number one feature request. (Admittedly coming from another Geosphere refugee).
  9. I was playing around with this in V 2.0. I like the default as a decoded hint since it's hidden until selected anyway. But to actually encode a hint I had to turn the option on and off. Whenever I go back to Settings the decode hint option shows as off even when it is on. Not a big deal but I wanted to point it out.
  10. Cachly 2.0 really is great. I'm looking forward to taking it on a cache run. One feature that's neat that I never even knew I wanted..... the ability to see another users active caches instantly plotted in a map instead of in a list view like on the geocaching.com website.
  11. The issue appears to be fixed in the beta. That was quick.
  12. I'm more than willing to test.
  13. After further investigation this problem is very repeatable. It also occurs when sorting Live cache data by distance, not just offline cache data.
  14. I'd say it's too soon to say if it "always" happens. I downloaded on wifi on both devices and was connected to wifi when using. Note though that the problem was only noticed with offline data.
  15. I downloaded 2.0 today, and first off, I would like to say that it looks great. I hope to get out and use it soon! However, I was surprised to find a "bug" almost immediately. I am using iOS v10.1 and experienced this problem on both an iPhone 6, and an iPad Pro 9.7. I am a premium geocaching.com member. I downloaded a pocket query on the device. The map view looked good. I then went to the List view and sorted by Ascending and Distance. The caches appeared to be in no logical order. I then tried other sorts such as Type, and Difficulty. They displayed as expected. I then switched back to Distance and it displayed as expected. I also tried this with an GSAK GPX file import from DropBox with similar results. In Ascending order my distance I get caches that are 30 miles, then 40 miles than less than one mile away. I'll be glad to send a GPX file and screenshot. Like thi s
  16. I'm a longtime Geosphere user as well. I agree it can drain the battery quickly unless the GPS turned off. One big difference between Geosphere and Cahly though appears to be in the device Privacy Settings. Cachly has the "while using app" option under location services. Geosphere has "always". I've made an almost 100% switch to Cachly. Perhaps with version 2.0 I'll complete that swith complete that switch.
  17. You link Cachly to your Geocaching.com account. If you don't have a geocaching.Com register there first. https://www.geocaching.com/play Linking to Facebook is an option but not required. My account is not linked to Facebook. Then come back to Cachly app and link to your new geo caching.com account.
  18. I agree Cachly is quite good. When replacing a missing cache, I like to Enable it immediately (or in the nearest mosquito free zone). The only app that I knew I could Enable from was the old official app. I kept out even though Groundspeak kept pushing the new inferior app. (Ok, I could always Enable from a mobile browser but that's a pain). Today I replaced a cache and found that I could post an Enable log right from Cachly. Once I confirmed the cache was enabled I immediately deleted the two official Groundspeak apps from my phone. I look forward to 2.0.
  19. I have a 6 on iOS 10 and I do see the ... As Nic showed.
  20. I've used Geosphere almost exclusively for over five years. I loved it. But I recently used Cachly exclusively for a few caches. At least I'm not quite as worried about losing a good independent Geocaching app. Just reading the forum I can tell that Nic takes pride in Cachly.
  21. Thanks for the quick response. (I did try to search the forum before posting but there were no good keywords I could think of to narrow the search).
  22. I just started using Cachly. One feature I've used elsewhere that I really really like it to different map defaults. What I mean by that is one map default when showing the location of nearby caches, another for the actual cache navigation. Obviously the user could set them the same. I generally like to keep the nearby cache map on standard Google Map view, and the Navigate on hybrid map Google Map view. With Cachly I have to constantly switch back and forth. Overall good first impressions though.
  23. I just started using Cachly after using another non Groundspeak iPhone app for the past five years. Today I found and logged a cache, and then looked to see which cache was now the closest, and it showed a nearby cache as found on the map (smiley icon). I had definitely not found the cache and it didn't show that way about 20 minutes prior. I only posted one log and it was to the correct cache. Otherwise, good first impressions.
