Nic Hubbard reacted to HoochDog in Viewing offline caches on the live map
Thank you!!!
I didn't know that you could bulk add the displayed list of live caches to an offline map. This is perfect. I appreciate you pointing me in the right direction.

Thanks.
This issue will be fixed in our upcoming 7.0 release.

Nic Hubbard got a reaction from Martin in Losing Cache Note and Corrected Coordinates on bad reception
Yes, there is a 60 second timeout. In this case, when this happens you can also switch your phone into Airplane mode and Cachly will know you are completely offline and not try to make a connection to the API, and will save locally until it can upload later.

Nic Hubbard got a reaction from PlasmaWave in Copy Options
This can be done on the Additional Information screen. If you tap on a row of information it will save to the clipboard. Then, if you long press on another row, it will append that text to the previously copied text.
I realize this could be useful, but I also think that users would be annoyed if it showed the share sheet every time they were only wanting to copy the text.

Nic Hubbard got a reaction from PlasmaWave in Quick display waypoints
In a future version you will be able to see all waypoints on the map, so this should help.

Manual sync will apply to your entire database of caches.

Nic Hubbard reacted to tommyjay in Drafts in Cachly don't go to GC.com
Darn. I feel like an idiot. I've been playing about with it for a few minutes every day for a week now, and didn't manage to figure out the correct combination. Now I looked at your mix & match descriptions, and realized where the mistake was. Sorry. And thanks!

Nic Hubbard reacted to two bison in "Live" not loading caches
Thanks, I think we can close this now. I've learned several useful things.

Nic Hubbard reacted to ivans in Wherigo player
I collected old printscreens and notes related to the wigo https://coord.info/GC5TTH8 and now I'm announcing the end of the alarm!
I apologize for wasting your time.
I tried to enter the code from the app printscreen into the form at wherigo.com and it passed. I had to make a mistake in the field while copying the unlock code from the application screen.
Actually, I don't know how to copy the unlock code from the application to wherigo.com, is the code copyable? Have a nice time Ivan -
Nic Hubbard reacted to Searchjaunt in Labcaches in Cachly?
It's Geooh go, a nice app which is updated very frequently.
I use it in the field as I don't have a suitable iPhone for this and my ipad is a bit large for this. I use cachly for planning.

I worked on the newly released HQ Wherigo app. Make sure to give that one a try.

Nic Hubbard got a reaction from Sternenfeuer in Looking4Cache - Out of Business
Yes, this is currently how it works. We haven't ever had a feature request for anything different, but will add it to our list for a future version.
These will be coming in our 7.0 version.
Thanks for using Cachly!

Nic Hubbard got a reaction from frso80 in Map refresh
One of the big differences here is that the official app can load 500 caches on the map at a time, and we have a max of 100. The official app also does not have a daily limit on number of caches loaded, but partner apps do.
Because of these two limitations, I have been hesitant to include this feature. However, I get the request more and more so I am looking into how I can adequately warn the user of the inherent risks when using a live loading map. That being said, I am only investigating the possibility at this point and don't have it planned for a release.

Nic Hubbard got a reaction from nastrud in Cachly on Apple CarPlay
I would be interested in building this. I put in an application for the CarPlay program to Apple probably a year ago, but have not hear back. You can’t even start development without approval and some special files they provide.

Ok, thanks Nic.
Looking forward to seeing Labcaches in Cachly!

Nic Hubbard reacted to PlasmaWave in Automatically update caches on a map
Per my comment in another similar user question, L4C has a 'live rolling' feature that I found very useful when driving ... good to know what caches are close to your route. So the map would be set to follow my location, with caches appearing and disappearing as the map moved. I hadn't realised there was a TP partner limit on number of caches BUT never experienced any problem when using the L4C feature on a journey. It would be really useful to have this as a selectable feature in Cachly.

Nic Hubbard reacted to PlasmaWave in Bad maps layers
Brilliant feature for quickly changing between recent/regular maps ... to change between say premium and OS (which is at the bottom of the full list) I had to scroll way down ... very easy to change between my regular maps now! Many thanks and still discovering Cachly features by the day!!

Nic Hubbard got a reaction from barefootguru in Images grayed out despite using downloaded PQ with full data & Downloaded Images
This is never a good idea as you will loose all data.
I do have a fix for the initial bug. I will be submitting it to Apple today for approval.
What specific map are you loading?
