If you found a cache, then adopted it, it would not display with the EXCLUDE MY FINDS filter turned on.
Ah, good thought. @SaskAcadie have you already found these caches before you adopted them? As LSbatman mentioned, those will be hidden when you are using the "hide my finds" option.
-
So the only filter option you have turned on is "Exclude my Finds"? I don't see how that would prevent your adopted caches from showing.
-
If you turn live filtering off, do those caches show?
-
It looks like this was fixed for our 6.0 release as I wasn't able to replicate it.
Where you using the Send Now option, or saving the log to pending logs?
-
Can you show a screenshot of how you are using the filter? And, what is your GC username?

The caches O have adopted . show in my hides when viewing ,my profile.
An example would be GC44YQZ
Can you please post a screenshot of where you are having the issue? I am not quite sure I am understanding. Thanks!

How about if you view your profile and then view your Hides? Do you see those adopted caches there?
-
Do you have a GC code of one of the caches?

Are the maps that I have previously downloaded being automatically updated? (I tend to believe no).
No they are not. The dates you are seeing is the date the map was updated on the download server. You are welcome to download an updated version.

This is not currently. I have plans to add this to the list of downloaded maps in the future.

I had built a new feature into 6.0 that allow uploading a private image into the Personal Note using iCloud. Sadly in testing we found a bug in iOS 13 which prevented this feature to be included in 6.0. Hopefully in the future.

Thanks, will get this fixed for 6.0.

I am not able to replicate this. Does this happen in a newly saved list or in the Live tab?

No. I had search the forum for information on it and discovered the solution myself. I just thought I'd share the info for anyone wanting to do the same. I'm sorry if it was the wrong thing to do or posted in the wrong area.
Thank you! We appreciate your help with this!

Did you have a specific question about this process?
-
Currently Adventure Labs are not supported by the partner API so we are not able to access this data. Hopefully in the future!

This is really strange - sometimes a cache will have the wrong color for weeks, other times it will be correct and then randomly change (still displaying correctly in list view) and then flip back. I used to be able to trust the colors, but as I add more, I trust them less and less.
How many highlights do you have? Please see More > Highlighting.
Are you able to replicate this issue on a brand new cache?
1 hour ago, diorex said:Syncing - I do my sorting and highlighting on my ipad, but cache on my phone. Sometimes (most of the time) I can tag something and it will update seemingly in real time. Other times, I will update a cache and days later those caches are still not highlighted. I have tried using Manual Sync on both devices in various orders and that does not appear to help. This seems to magically fix itself and work fine for months, then stop working for no apparent reason. Seems like I am probably doing something to force the syncing - closing the app, restarting the device, jumping on one leg in a counter clockwise motion etc. but I have no idea what that "thing" is.
This is done by iCloud, and developers don't have control over "when" it syncs. We essentially hand off the data to iCloud and it syncs when iOS thinks the time is appropriate based on system conditions, network use, etc etc. Normally this is instantly.
1 hour ago, diorex said:Reset Highlight tags - This is an annoying thing that I have done several times (and again this morning) by accident. When on editing highlight colors screen the upper right corner clearly says reset, but it is placed in an area that is used by many apps as the back button or a menu or other functionality. Can we move reset button to the bottom of the screen or perhaps put a "dummy check" in asking if I really want to reset these labels? This is more a stupid user than anything else but this stupid user keeps making the same stupid mistake.
I will add a confirmation to prevent accidental tapping.
1 hour ago, diorex said:Search functionality - (more of a feature request but in theme with the rest of the post) would be cool if a search filter allowed me to look only for highlighted caches - Since these are known "interesting caches" I would love to be able to search just for them as a filter. Sometimes I just want the nearby caches, other times I would be willing to go further out of my way to get these flagged caches.
You can do this in offline lists. If you have those caches in a specific list you can use filters such as "has highlight" or "has highlight color". You can also use the "Restore caches from highlights" option if you would like to create an offline list with all your highlights.

Yes. On the cache details page, just tap the navigate button on the bottom right and it will show your current location, the target cache and all of the waypoints on the map.
-
This is by design. Cachly will keep the corrected coordinate position until you remove it.
We do have a few requests from users to add a way to toggle this on and off so you can see finished geo art. Looking to add that possibly in a future version.

Could you add in a future release a selection of displayed/hidden POI ?
Are you meaning a way to turn off each POI type?

Hmm. So no way to avoid it? Should I download a different keyboard? I'm surprised nobody else has encountered this - it's such an easy way to log. I find a cache with Cachly, dictate a log, press send, and I'm done. All my logs have the symbol and it just kind of annoys me!
I have tested this as well and I cannot replicate it either. We have never had any reports of this. Do you happen to have a second device such as an iPad to test this on?

The FTF indicator is only available for geocaching.com Premium users, are you a Regular or Premium member?

Is this for online or offline caches? Can you please send us a crash log?

It is basically an invisible line return character.

Please see: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/39603446/why-is-this-symbol-showing-up-on-chrome-and-not-firefox-or-edge
I don't think that Cachly itself is inserting this.

This should be fixed in Cachly 6.0, which is set to be released later this spring.
