Hey! I have switched back and forth the Cachly app and the groundspeak one. One thing I really like in the geocaching app is that caches with many Favorite Points show it in the map. This would be nice to have in Cachly as well. I know that u can sort by Favorite Points but that’s not what I am looking for. Perhaps it could be like when caches aren’t logged in over a year and an icon comes up. But instead it could be a heart icon.

i love cachly, but in the past i often used a old Android, because there is an app calles "c:geo" which is a dream for Multi Caches. It can handly nearly all possible kind of formula. And the best, i can set the coordinates as new waypoints. Can we have this features here in cachly, too?

CarPlay development happens almost daily. The issue is, there are MANY differences to iOS and limitations as well as features that take a lot more time to develop within the CarPlay constrains. Because of this is it difficult to say when it will be released, but I am getting close.

Last time I had many TBs (around 80) in my inventory it was hard to find the right ones I wanted to drop because in the TB view I cannot sort by the TB code. I could type the code but this would be more work then if I had a sorted list by TB codes. Another idea would be to filter the TBs I currently have in my inventory and I'm typing a new incomplete code, it could filter the list based on the prefix of what I typed. The sorting would also be helpful in the 'create a log' > 'trackable drop/visit' view. Or having a search bar in this list to search by TB code - only filtering the TBs client side and not doing a request with a complete code.

One consideration would be to create a list of caches that Need Maint and select/ display the list as needed. You could add all your own caches to a list and use highlighting for any needs Maint, or just use the list for caches needing maintenance.

Thank you for your reply and the information on how to insert text templates. I appreciate the functionality that allows creating and using multiple templates. However, there's a specific challenge I face that I believe could be improved. Currently, while it’s possible to create various templates for different scenarios (e.g., caching alone, biking, or with a group), the process of selecting and using these templates for logs marked as "Found" is cumbersome. The issue lies in the fact that only one template can be marked with a "Found" status at a time. To elaborate, if I want to switch from one "Found" template to another (say from a solo caching template to one for group caching), I need to navigate through multiple steps: Go to settings. Open the templates section. Select the current "Found" template and remove its status. Choose the new template and assign the "Found" status. This process is quite time-consuming and not user-friendly, especially when trying to log finds on the go. It would be much more efficient and user-friendly to allow multiple templates to be set as "Found" templates. Then, when logging a find in the field, I could easily switch between these pre-prepared "Found" templates through a simple dropdown menu, similar to how the L4C app used to handle it. In summary, while the current system supports the creation of many templates, it becomes practically challenging to use them effectively due to the cumbersome switching process. Simplifying this by allowing multiple templates to be marked as "Found" and making them easily accessible via a dropdown menu would greatly enhance the user experience.
