The search options described are options of the geocaching.com API and affect the live search results returned from geocaching.com servers.
Tapping the reset button in the navigation bar will clear all search options. Note that you can tap Disable Filtering to stop filtering and still retain current filter settings.
The Sorting action lets you change how the caches returned by a search are ordered. The default is to sort by Distance Ascending.

Search by Cache Name
Allows the text field in to be used to search for cache names. This option has search distance limits.
Exclude My Finds
Your finds will be excluded from search results.
Exclude My Hides
Your hides will be excluded from search results.
Exclude Premium
Premium caches will not be shown.
Premium Only
Only premium caches will be shown if the current logged in user is a Premium Member.
Exclude Corrected Coordinates
Caches with corrected coordinates will not be shown.
Has Corrected Coordinates
Only caches with corrected coordinates will be shown.
Exclude Personal Note
Caches with personal notes will not be shown.
Has Personal Note
Only caches with personal notes will be shown.
Use Map Bounds in Search
This option limits search results to only the area within the map that you see on screen. Any caches outside of that will not be returned in the search results.
Exclude hides from this user.
Hidden by username
Only caches hidden by this user will be returned.
Found by username(s)
A comma-separated list of usernames used to only return caches that those users have found.
Not found by username(s)
A comma-separated list of usernames used to only return caches that those users have not found.
US State
Choosing a US State will limit the search results to only that state.
Country
Choosing a country will limit the search results to only that country.
Difficulty
Option to only return caches with the specified difficulty range.
Terrain
Option to only return caches with the specified terrain range.
Favorites Minimum
Minimum number of favorite points that returned caches should have.
Cache Published
Setting the start and end dates will limit returned caches to being published within that range. Note: The range is limited to 30 days.
Sizes
Some or all sizes can be chosen and will be used to limit search results.
Cache Types
Some or all cache types can be chosen and will be used to limit search results.
