    Waypoints not saving

I’m having the same problem, 5.1.2(3) it doesn’t change whatever is defaulted to when I paste new coords in, and then doesn’t keep the one I edit to. Seems to only affect the North coords, not the West, at least here at GeoWoodstock. I think I remember older versions changing coords on paste, both N & W.

Find User caches not visible in Map View

Thanks Nic! I did have fit to map turned off. With it on the caches appear as expected. I do like to have that option off though if I’m zoomed in on an area and want to see what’s there. It’s a bit of a pain if the display zooms out when I refresh the caches.

    This was for live caches

Can you please confirm if this is in offline or live?

Find User caches not visible in Map View

Do you have the Settings option "Fit to Map" turned off? If so, it looks like there is a bug causing what you are seeing if you have that option off.

    Waypoints not saving

I’ve updated to 5.1.2. I think the issue is the same. I do see all my saved waypoints on start up, but if I add a new one it is initially there with the rest but they all disappear if I leave that cache and return. If I quit out of the app and restart it all the waypoints are back again, including my newly added ones...

Find User caches not visible in Map View

Aha - When I keep zooming out it looks like the default location is the North Pole! I can rotate the Earth to find the caches and zoom back in.

That is strange. Can you let us know the GC username and show us a screenshot?

    Waypoints not saving

Was this for live caches or offline? We had some fixes for waypoints in our 5.1.2 update, make sure to update and see if that fixes the issue.

    Can’t email support

Email Support option is tied to your iOS email setup, so if you don't have anything configured there you aren't able to send. Feel free to email support@cach.ly or let us know your question here.

    Can’t email support

Version 5.1.1 I read that if I use the email support option it includes a debug list. I typed an email (regarding waypoints not saving and not seeing Find User caches in Map View) and could see the debug list. However, the send email option was greyed out and I was forced to cancel and delete the email. I posted two posts to the support forum instead (now three posts).

Find User caches not visible in Map View

Version 5.1.1 When I use the Find User option I get the profile of a user just fine. However, when I select their Hides it comes up with a blank map (or rather a black screen with a light grey vertical streak in the centre). I can select the List tab and see the cache names, but not the mapped version.

    Waypoints not saving

Version 5.1.1 When I create a waypoint and save it, I see it initially in my user list of waypoints and the number of waypoints listed for the cache page also increases. However, if I exit the cache and return the waypoint is gone (and the waypoint count has returned to the original number).

    problem with exported logs

Updated to 5.1.2(3) and tried several more tests: (1) Added a 7th pending log and exported as .txt -- same result (all seven logs show "(null)" as the log text. (2) Selected "Send Log Now" for the added entry, and sent it to gc. It was posted correctly (with the intended log text). (3) Deleted all pending logs (4) Wrote and saved a new log entry. Exported via .txt with same "(null)" log text as before. Submitted to gc using "Submit All Logs" button; it was posted correctly. So definitely an issue with exporting via .txt, at least in my instance. I've used this extensively as part of my normal work flow with no problem until now. Thanks.

There is a bug currently with the find_count keyword. We are working to get this fixed.

    find_count: Wrong number in logs

Hi, I have a problem with the variable find_count, when I use templates for logs. The find_count number is too high, but the shift is more or less arbitrary. Sometimes ~30, sometimes ~5-9. I see no clear dependence. I tried to restart cachly and re-login to my geocaching account. Even if I do the following procedure, the number changes every time: - press 'Log Geocache' and the preview - cancel logging (without saving) and the again to 'log geocach' and again preview When I then send the log, the number from the last preview will be logged... So, if you could solve the problem or tell me how I can work around, would be great! Greetings, Marc.

    problem with exported logs

Yes, they all have log text in the "Message" field when I look at them in the Pending Logs section.

When you view the pending logs, do those logs have log text when you view them?

    problem with exported logs

The "message" field is missing in exported logs. Version 5.1.1(1) on ios 12.2. I have six pending logs, each with a log message saved. When exporting for use in GSAK I use the "Export .txt File" menu option under Pending Logs. This used to work fine! In 5.1.1, the message field is written as "(null)" instead of the saved log message. I usually export to Dropbox, but I also tried sending via email with the same result. Here's the .txt file written via either method: GC87EKZ,2019-05-23T17:50Z,Found it,"(null)" GC887J1,2019-05-23T18:06Z,Found it,"(null)" GC87ZQ0,2019-05-23T18:19Z,Found it,"(null)" GC87F3J,2019-05-23T18:30Z,Found it,"(null)" GC80R08,2019-05-23T18:44Z,Found it,"(null)" GC87ZYR,2019-05-23T19:35Z,Found it,"(null)"
