Attila_G
There is an anoying zoom problem when tapping on the direction arrow in the right lower corner: When I am near the cache and I got no other orientation (e.g. in the woods) I like to change the mode to show the walking direction. Usually in this situation the zoom level is set to a high number (as I am close to the cache). As soon as I tap the arrow button the map zooms out! This happens only if the zoom is set to a specific (high) level before. Here is a screenshot of the zoom level before tapping the direction arrow: And here after tapping the button for the first time (center mode)... This behavior makes it very difficult because you have to zoom in again and maybe you loose the direction mode again. Other information: - iPhone 6 / iOS 9.3.3 - Cachly 2.x or 3.0.2 - doesn't matter which map is active - doesn't matter if a cache is selected or not
Nic Hubbard
Can you reproduce this every time? I am testing by zooming to the max then tapping the location two times to go to the heading follow mode. This keeps me at the same zoom level but allows the map to rotate with my heading. Attila_G
Hi Nic Yes, I can reproduce it everytime. As soon as I zoom in to the max (see scale in first pic) AND my position is NOT centered (outlined arrow). These two requirements must be fulfilled otherwise it works correctly. -- Dave
Attila_G
This video shows the problem: I have not selected a cache as it doesn't matter.

Unfortunately this is just the way that the follow modes work in iOS. We are not programming that zoom, iOS maps are. So at this point we aren't able to change it.
