barefootguru
Suspect this isn't possible with Groundspeak API… but would be cool to have option to add cache to watchlist when logging it (alongside adding to favs).
1 Team DEMP
It is possible to add via a blind back end web URL - https://www.geocaching.com/my/watchlist.aspx?w=3571496 where the value is the cache id. Requires an active connection or if offline, would need to be batched and executed once connected. Even if not "API'ed" I'd prefer this approach then having to go to the full website. To stop watching a cache I'm not sure it can be done through a single web call as the current UI prompts to confirm but maybe that can be included for a "silent" stop watching. Will add this to our feature list.
0 Nic Hubbard
Like you suspected, this isn't possible with the current API. Hopefully in the future!
0 rragan
In Geosphere, I used a bookmark for this. Placing a watch was just another entry in the list of things you could do from the detail view. Clearing a watch is trickier so I would just watch again and do the remove from the watching list web page.
0 TeamAroo
If this would be possible in the future, it's a feature I use a lot when i get a DNF to keep an eye to see if others fare better. Kyzabra
