Live List View

Live List View is a list of all caches that are the result of a Live search.

Note: In Offline Mode, List View looks pretty similar but there are differences. See Offline List View

Tapping an entry in List View will take you to the Cache Details. From the title bar you can easily switch to Map View of the caches in the list.

The ••• Action button at the left of the title bar offers options to Save to List allowing you to save your search results to an offline or online list. If you do this, you get a further prompt allowing you to save "All Caches", "Visible Caches", or "Highlighted Caches". The other option available via the ••• Action button is Export GPX. This will let you share the entire list with external applications.

Just above the list is a count of the number of caches in the list and a refresh arrow to trigger loading more caches.

The icon at the far right of the title bar allows you to sort the list in ascending or descending order based on any one of a long list of criteria. The shape of the icon is a reminder about whether the largest is sorted first or the smallest.

Sortable fields:

  • Cache Type
  • Container Size
  • Date Last Found
  • Date Placed
  • Difficulty
  • Distance
  • FTF
  • Favorites
  • Found
  • GC Code
  • Highlighted
  • Name
  • Premium
  • Terrain
  • Trackable Count

Search from List View

Right below the title bar is a search field where you can enter a Location, one or more GC Codes separated by commas or coordinates.

Highlighting is a way to mark caches. Highlighted caches on the map will have red outlines and a red background in list view.

Highlighted state will be synced across devices if those devices are logged into the same iCloud account. If they are not, syncing will not occur.

Save to List

Save to List lets you add this cache to a list. You will get a screen showing lists you can add it to. If you need to define a new one, tap the + in the upper right and enter a name for it. Then when you are returned to this screen with the new list, tap it to finish adding the cache to it. Cancel can be used to bail out if you change your mind about adding it.

Note that when adding to a list you can choose whether it is an offline list or an online bookmark list on
